Hempstead Hall is one of the finest meetings and events, conference centers and concert venues in Arkansas. From the moment you walk through the front doors of the Oakhaven Rotunda and see the largest-ever James Hayes glass art installation, Hempstead Hall and our dedicated full-time team will amaze you with our modern take on southern hospitality.
There is always something happening at Hempstead Hall and we know you want to join in! Hempstead Hall serves as a hub for cultural, educational, informational, social and all types of community events. It easily ranks as one of the top venues in Arkansas: perfect for concerts, meetings, speakers, presentations, banquets, galas, and more.
When planning a class reunion, training session, conference, board meeting, or any event for that matter, one thing is for sure: you've got to have good food! One thing that places Hempstead Hall at the top of any venue list is the number of catering options available. Choose from a variety of our preferred local restaurants and caterers who have proven to be reliable (and dare we say, delicious!).
Facility security will be under the control of the University of Arkansas Hope - Texarkana and rental activities open to inspection from college officials at all times. The college will provide one security personnel and can require additional approved security hired by the Renter, if deemed necessary by the college.
Hempstead County is buzzing with a variety of activities for all ages. Visit local attractions, browse downtown shops, and dine all over the city at our great restaurants. Take a short trip to Arkansas State Park Historic Washington or visit the National Park President Clinton Birthplace. Everyone that works here and has been vending for the outdoor expo ARK LA TEX have been absolutely amazing! They put their heart into this place from what I've seen in two days. I love that they remain true, Southern hospitaliters. If you have not checked out this branch of the U of A, you should put this on your bucket list!
