In the summer of 1991 the Murdocks moved from Northern Utah into the beautiful Cub River Canyon. Here they raised their 8 children, Amber, Andrew, Crystal, Mindy, Mandy, Cami, Joshua, and Daniel. Many years ago the Hull Family settled most of upper Cub River Canyon. The 620 acre ranch where the scout camp is located, and most of the area around the Guest House was settled and developed by them.
Cub River RV Park offers (11) full hook-up RV Sites (30 or 50 amp), and lots of dry camping area for RVs, "hip camping", tenting, etc. We can handle large family or group gatherings if booking early. We absolutely loved staying here. It was a very spacious and clean environment. Our large family fit very comfortably with plenty of bedrooms available. The host was always available if needed and provided many necessities. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful cabin.

I wouldn't rate this campground as a 4.3. It isn't anything like the advertising. The host was nice and helpful. Will not be going back or recommending it to anyone.

Such a wonder place to stay! We spent 4 days up this beautiful canyon. It was our jumping off point to see the historical locations in northern Utah & Southern Idaho. The host was excellent and kept the grounds beautifully maintained. No cell service but a provided wifi connection served well enough to get emails, phone service and social media if you just have to have it.

Cub River is off he beaten path. If you want to get away from the world and relax for a while "THIS IS THE PLACE". Only 30 minutes to lLoga it is still close enought if we want to rejoin the world. Denise and her crew are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They will be your family while you are there and even after you have left. New Starlink and upgraded electricty makes it easy to stay connected if that's what your heart desires. It was a beautiful spot to be in during the summer and will likely be even more specatulcar during the fall.
For the location only gave 4 stars bacause the

The food is quite good and the staff that served us was kind and forthcoming with napkins, and water refills. The Oni n rings were breaded rather odd...not necessarily bad but certainly different from normal onion ring expectations. The scones were deliciously chewy and only lightly browned so it was almost doughy but right on the edge of doneness that I appreciate the balanced effort in.
The scenery outside is breathtaking and the stream nearby offers pleasant white noise.
The only gripe was the seating in direct sunlight. We were assured it would only be ten minutes before the sun would disappear

My wife and I found this TV park in one of our camp directories and found the park to be an oasis with tall shade trees and cooler temperatures. The water and power work well and the grounds are well maintained. The owner, Denise, bent over backwards to help us extend our stall when they were fully booked; a first for us in nearly 30 years of RVing.

We love this place for large family gatherings! Our family has come two summers in a row now, and have planned to keep coming back year after year. We love the fresh water pool, the beautiful landscaping and willow trees, and the space for many, many people!
