Time to Water: watering between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. is best because the sun is low, winds are calm and temperatures are cool. This time of day also provides the best and most steady water pressures. Day time watering tends to be less efficient due to evaporation and windy conditions. Winds are usually calmer at night.
