The West Bank Inn
We are conveniently located just off of Interstate 20 and are an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Augusta, Ga. Augusta is home to the famous Augusta National Golf Club where the Masters Tournament is held each year. We are located a mile away from the Augusta National Golf Course, and are surrounded by a wide variety of shopping and dining within walking distance.

The popular Tbonz Steakhouse is just a 2-minute walk from our front door. West Bank Inn has been a regular stop for us on our trips to Myrtle Beach. We go in June and December. It is always clean and comfortable and although nothing fancy I know what I'm going to get. I've often said I wish I could take this place with me on all my vacations.

It's a long list why this gets five stars let me begin:
Wonderful shower pressure and temperature was tight,
Very good climate control,
Bed was clean. Good cable television reception clear, microwave and refrigerator worked well, Kim was very helpful as a manager. Price was reasonable. Next time in Augusta will be staying here again!

Very affordable if you are on a budget. It is close to road but surprisingly with fan running on AC/heating unit and fact that traffic dies down at night slept well. Room was clean and comfortable. Coffee maker in room but can go down stairs to registration in morning for light contenental breakfast and get your coffee there also. Plenty of places that are nearby and convenient to get get food.

I never got the pleasure of staying at the hotel because they canceled our reservations, for the week of the Masters 2022 because I booked and paid for a room before the inflated the pricing for the Masters. They gave me 24 hours to accept a discounted rate of $350 per night, which was 300% higher than what was originally paid. So now, I have no where to stay that week unless that week. But on a positive note, they canceled my reservations for free. Now I have to verify they actually refund my credit card. Not a way a business.

If you can't pay for luxury, at least the place can be clean! I love this place because I can count on being comfy in a clean environment when I visit Augusta without having to pay an arm and a leg for it. Great staff/customer service too!

I'd say 3.5, when we stayed the service was good, the cleanliness was 'okay', and the location was very convenient. But watch your bumper when coming in, the parking lot is small.

I Enjoyed my stay in Augusta Georgia. Because of it's picturesque décor and architectural styles, brought there by settlers from countries Greek, Spanish, Italian, French along with Victorian, Colonial, Queen Anne, Gothic , Federal and Rome. They remain today because I think Gen. Sherman liked it didn't destroy this town on his "War March To The Sea" 'near Savannah. the River Walk: your first stop, It will relax you ,listen to the river flow by. Places to dine and I-520 make travel fast around city. My hotel , WEST BANK INN, was great, breakfast daily, clean, quiet, rest

Was exhausted after a long drive on little sleep and had booked a room online a few days before. Though the young woman checking me in seemed more preoccupied with her CNA training book than looking me in the eyes and being welcoming, the West Bank Inn lived up to its reviews in every other way. My room was clean and super accommodating. The fridge had a freezer (overrun with ice but a freezer nonetheless which is harder to find, especially on a budget) and the microwave was decent. I had great wireless data coverage there so I was able to stream right to the tv in the room with my Roku. The

This is my favorite place to stay in Augusta. Its quiet for being on a main road. The owners and staff are so very cordial and greet you like you are friends. The rooms are clean and the beds are decent. I am going to suggest new pillows. But for the money, they are my home away from home.

Had no complaints! We stayed during Masters week and the price was very good, much better than most places we priced. Staff was super attentive and very friendly. Clean room and we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town!

Was looking for a hotel and came across the West Bank Inn. I must admit I was skeptical at first, you know you hear stories about BED BUGS at hotels. Nobody wants to get that. Any moving forward to my experience.....

We Stayed here for 3 nights. The first room we received was unclean but the lady who checked us in was nice and changed our room for us.

Pros
- inexpensive
- near the highway, restaurants and gas stations
- shower was GREAT ( water pressure was awesome)
- Wifi
- Gym
- Breakfast
- Parking

Cons
- Towels barely cover you
- Need a room attendant on site at all times ( our room

Spent a relaxing night here on my way north from Florida. It's well located just off the highway and the rooms are beautiful. I was upgraded from a single (the only room available was ADA accessible) to a double. My main gripe is that this is one of those tiny-pillow hotels. I grouped them together as best I could, but I never sleep well when I slide off the pillow every time I turn over. Other than that, it's nicely appointed and you can enjoy the free breakfast, available earlier than you are (5:30 due to the prevalence of contract workers here, I was told). Didn't notice any of

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the price is right. My husband and I stayed 2 non-consecutive nights during our PCS to Ft. Gordon, and it was SO helpful to have a clean, safe place to rest our heads. The water pressure is exceptional, and the shower heads have different settings. Between all that and the free breakfast, and wifi, there is really nothing else I could want from a hotel.

There are also some really nice features like an iron, and beautiful wood hangers -- both a fridge and a microwave. Plus! They have white duvets, and I literally won't stay in a hotel without

Well I was traveling for work and I found them in a Google search. Read the reviews and had my company pick them. Checked in was very friendly staff at the office. Room is very nice for the price of the stay. It's an older style hotel with parking outside the door. I like that. I lucked up and got the handy capped room. Has some what of a smaller bed but the bathroom is huge . Bed is firm , no smells in the room. Nicely painted walls. They have a free breakfast in the mornings which is nice. It's very close to McDonald's and a place called cook out. I have enjoyed my stay here

For the price, this motel did its job quite well. We stayed here just one night as a half way point on our trip.

The room seemed cleaned. It had a microwave, fridge, and a flat screen TV. The AC kept the room nice and cool which is a must in the summer. The linens seemed clean. The hotel staff were very nice and welcoming.

Only two things we didn't like - it was supposed to be a non-smoking room but upon walking in it smelled like somebody had broken that rule once or twice. After the AC got running though it smelt a lot better. Also, there were about three or four flies buzzing around

I stayed here 4th of July weekend. Very clean rooms, and can't beat the value. If you don't mind a nice quiet cozy little place then this is your place. I enjoyed my stay. Check in was fast and the amenities are pretty good.

This was the first time that I ever stayed in a hotel for $100 a night and I certainly would have ever stayed in a hotel that the doors are not confined.. Well I did and I was not disappointed. My wife and I stopped in Augusta from Fl going back home to Roanoke Va.. I was very hesitant at first, my wife said come on we are staying here. The price total was $65.00 and the room was very very comfortable, extremely clean and the check in staff was very very nice. I would stay there again and I recommend it to anyone that is looking for cheap and affordable. I am somewhat picky, not over the top picky

They have made lots of updates since I was last here. The carpets are new and there is fresh paint on the walls, flat screen TV's and all the rooms are non-smoking.

The beds need an update, but other than that, it's a nice room for a very low price.

They even have a small fitness center with a treadmill, elliptical, bike and a weight machine.

The staff is very nice and helpful, the breakfast is pretty standard, nothing fancy, but they keep it very well stocked and clean.

Most of the people who stay here are either orchestra members (during the season) or they are contractors who

I chose this place because of ratings and reviews. The hotel overall was nice and staff very helpful. The only downside was the beds. Two double beds in my room were horribly hard and uncomfortable. Worst night of rest I have had in ages.

I stayed at the West Bank Inn for three nights while in town to play with the symphony. I wish I could offer this property two separate ratings: one for the condition of the current property and one for value. If rating value, I would have given the hotel five stars. I feel that people will probably be more concerned with the aesthetic and cleanliness, for which I would offer four stars.

The hotel looks kind of dilapidated from the outside, but I found my room to be clean. The mattress was a bit soft, but the bed linens were clean. The interior of my room was pretty 90's-tastic. That

My son his stationed here on Ft Gordon. I now know I have a great place to stay every time I come to visit. Front desk staff treated me like family, so warm and friendly. The room was so clean! Comfortable bed, great shower. Microwave/frig in room. Convenient central location to all the places I had to go, as this was at the end of a business trip. Nice choices for breakfast from the usual to all the breakfast microwave foods you could want. AMAZING BARGAIN in this day and age!

Great value! Wonderful, friendly staff. Has all the amenities you would need, WiFi, laundry room, hot breakfast, exercise room, computer printer/copier. Clean, well kept and managed. Convenient location. Had an extended stay here waiting on a house. It's not a five star hotel and it's a little noisy on the highway side but you can't beat the value. Highly recommended!
