I wish I were able to give some sort of testimonial about the quality of work performed by Derby City Concrete. They put in a bid on my residential concrete job and scheduled me to do the work. However, they never showed up. I had to call them each day and see if they were going to show up. Their communication skills are SEVERELY lacking. Each day they would tell me they were going to do the work the next day. I can certainly understand the weather is a big unknown when scheduling work. But talking to your customer and telling them what is going on is imperative. Had I not called I am certain they

Contacted Doug at Derby City to complete a new construction in Jefferson County. River City foundation forwarded my information to them and they bid the flatwork for the basement floor, driveway floor, driveway, porch, steeps and stoop. They poured the basement floor and did a good job. Then the trouble came with the garage floor pour. Not sure why but they ordered over $1,000 in rock and billed to my account and raised the floor over 2 feet with out so much as a phone call. This resulted in me having to raise the grade 2 feet to level in out which was another $2,000 in dirt and grading. Tried
