I hired him back in 2011, after getting retainer he would not return the phone calls for days. The matter was pretty simple, parenting rights related. One day when I personally went to his office to meet him, there was another lady sitting in the waiting area yelling at the front desk since he did the same thing to her as well. God knows how many of his clients had to go through this type of treatment. I ended up changing my attorney right away.

I hired them to process my divorce. They were always more focused on fees than me. In one case we had a face to face meeting, they spent the first 30 minutes of a 90 minute meeting discussing fees, then I received a bill for all 90 minutes. In another situation they said my divorce was final but refused to help because fees didn't cover the divorce they negotiated. In a third situation we had a written contract for fees... In writing... Then they asked to change agreement verbally after it was signed.

Laura Nieusma is a blessing. No review I could write would begin to do her justice. Laura worked tirelessly for me during one of the worst years of my life! My Ex husband paid top dollar for the most underhanded and manipulative lawyer he could find. The two of them attacked me in court with a slew of lies and a game plan to take full custody… of our daughter and leave me without a cent.
