From beginning to end, our experience with Ciel Energy through Mason Ben Yair was thorough, explicit, and professional in every sense of the words.
He explained how the process would work, sent an extremely efficient and knowledgeable technician to do initial assessment, explained the costs and how they would work with PSE&G, and sent a very thorough crew to do the work over a 3 day period. Followup by the company after all the subcontracted work was also amazingly thorough & professional.
We believe we have made major improvements in sealing our old house against heat and cold and look forward

From the first phone call to the insulation work of our home, Ciel Power was fantastic. Mason B took time to explain exactly what our home lacked and why it was so cold in the winter, hot in the summer, and why we were paying exorbitant amounts on heating and cooling. He is professional, responsive, extremely helpful, and personable and funny on top of it all! The maintenance team that came to insulate our home was also great. I couldnt be happier after getting my house insulated by Ciel Power. My old house had zero insulation in the walls and hardly any in the attic. This caused my house to not only have extremely high energy bills but also be extremely uncomfortable and drafty. The heat system would need to run all day long, massively drying out the air as well.
Ciel came in (they sent Beth, who was awesome!) and did an energy audit and then Mason promptly reviewed the results with me in detail and no surprise I was a prime candidate for the energy program. Took a few days to hammer out the details and get me approved

I had my house fully insulated by ciel in 2012 and it was a great decision. My husband didn't get multiple estimates and I agreed to it even though the price seemed quite high even with the rebates. For a two story small house and attic they quoted $8,000 after the rebates. But they were efficient and timely and we have definitely reaped the benefits in our 60 yr old home. Our energy bills literally were cut in half we barely have to run cooling or heating for the entire house cool down or heat up. The price still stings though.

My wife and I moved into a 30-year-old condo with electric forced air heat last year and after an expensive winter, we turned to Ciel Power to help us hopefully reduce our monthly energy bills. A couple of months later, and I would say it's too soon to tell if there are significant cost savings yet, but we are pleased with the overall experience and our house definitely feels less drafty.

John S. was our technician. He arrived on time and was extremely polite and professional. He took time to explain how the audit was going to work and answered all of my questions, yet also managed to move through the process efficiently. Steve L. also arrived, was friendly, professional, and made sure that all of our questions were answered. The follow-up a week later was also very professional and informative. We are currently reviewing the results and deciding whether we will move forward with the recommendations, but I can say that the energy audit met my expectations.

Every one speaks of John S. on their review, and they are correct, he is a very nice and knowlegeable guy, but I am wondering how many actually had Ciel Power completed a project for them. I will be writing my experience with them from begining to end (an entire year of experiences, good and bad) very soon. Stay tuned as i am still dealing with them.

We purchased our Indow Windows (http://www.yelp.com/biz/indow-windows-portland) from Ciel Power. They handled the order, measurements and installation, including some custom supports that we needed. Everyone we dealt with at Ciel was fantastic. We're in Brooklyn, NY, so it wasn't particularly convenient for them to work with us, but they treated us well and did a great job for a great price. I wish they were closer so I wouldn't feel so guilty using them again for our future insulation needs!

I am loving how snug our house is here in Highland Park. This winter would have been brutal if it weren't for the insulation and gap treatments Ciel Power did.
We are on an annual averaging payment plan with PSE&G, so I can't entirely speak to the savings, but I know the furnace is running much less frequently and for a shorter time when it does run. Mornings have been easier, too--no more shivering as I get dressed, or avoiding cold spots on the floor.
The costs were entirely in line with what they promised. Their work was excellent and thorough, and the follow-up was great

Attempted to business with these criminals at the recommendation of another contractor, in order to qualify for some federal rebates.
They charged me $99 to perform an energy whole house energy audit. The guy that came for the audit was late, but called to let me know. He seemed knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and why. He said they'd get back to me with a proposal that would detail the different improvements they could perform as well as an ROI for each option. Sounds good so far, right?
The guy that gives me the proposal is also late. He calls to tell me he's stuck
