A national company was scheduled to pick up a few items for disposal. They wouldn’t give a quote over the phone and when they finally arrived they wanted to charge an outrageous amount. We promptly declined their services. A quick google search pulled up Hauling by Steve and the ratings prompted me to call. Steve, himself, answered at 4:30pm on a Saturday. Contacted Steve about removing 14 kitchen cabinets from garage area. Texted him a photo and received a firm price quote. He suggested 12:00pm the following day. He was in my driveway at 11:59am. He quickly removed all of the cabinets. He also let me add a variety of other items to the load for a modest increase. When he was done loading, he replaced the tables he had moved and swept the entire area. I was pleased with his price, responsiveness, and care of my property.

Steve was called on a saturday, around 10am, by 2pm he was filling his truck. Best part, he asked for text photos of what we had and he texted me over a price, unlike Junk-N-Haul who said "Probably $125 for 4 cabinets" which then turned into nearly $500 by way of Fred, who stated "Your cabinets (4 of them) are going to take up 3/5s of the truck" - I sent Junk-N-Haul off and called Steve. Quick, clean and took CC's (for a $10 extra fee)

We had a garage full of renovation materials, odds and ends, and flooring from work we are doing on a recently purchased home. Steve returned my car the same day and gave me a quote, and scheduled a time to come haul everything away. In the meantime, my husband continued to add to the pile and when the day arrived to remove everything it had grown significantly. Steve did an amazing job for a fair price! I had a ton of junk in my basement as well as a large swing set and chicken coop in the backyard that needed hauled away. To be honest I was a little apprehensive when he showed up alone. I imagined the job would take several people, but Steve knocked it all out alone and much quicker than when I hired a 5-man crew previously! He was very polite and respectful of my home. He exceeded my expectations and did a much more efficient job than chain companies I've gone through in the past. Hiring Steve before selling my house was the best decision! Thank you

Just had one of the most disappointing experiences dealing with this business owner. Steve talked with my husband and everything was set up to be picked up this morning. Steve immediately started to complain about the items needed to be picked up. He then went to the side of the house where there was more items to be picked up. He returned the key to the front door and left. Didn't bother to ring the bell, or knock on the door to let me know he was not going to do the job. In the meantime, he called my husband to let him know it was going to cost 3-5 times more than he originally quoted

So we decided at the most inopportune time to upgrade a couch.

After a bunch of calls and CRAZY EXPENSIVE pricing we finally got a YELP reply from Steve (he was the first to reply from Yelp) with the lowest price quoted to us AND.....AND he was not only willing to get over to us on a Sunday but even expedited his timeline due to us having other things scheduled.
No joke.....within ONE HOUR from replying with a quote he was here and gone.
Even took our card info on his phone and texted me the receipt.

The price was good but service not so good. My husband called and let Steve know all the items we had to be removed. Once he got there he tried to change the price. He took only half of the full bookcase that was already broken up. He is only one man so if you have a lot of items may want to rethink OR send him a picture to make sure he is aware of all the pieces you need hauled away.

Check with other movers first. I called him and he gave me one price. Got here and gave me another price, which wasn't that bad, but then halfway thru, when he decided it was more than he thought (even tho I have been pretty clear and he had already seen what had to be removed) he gave me yet a third price. As he was halfway thru the job, I just said go ahead. He knew what was to be moved, saw it, and I told him beforehand when he asked that it was in various places in the house, not outside already. This is a one man moving company, so be aware that heavy items may be a problem. He
