I've known Melissa for a long time. She is a professional friend turned personal friend. I knew that when I was ready, she would be my financial advisor. I kept hesitating to start working with her, thinking I didn't have enough money, I didn't make enough money, I'd start this when I had enough ducks in a row, etc. I had a major life change coming that finally pushed me over the edge. At the end of my first meeting, I thought, "I so wish I had done this 8 years ago!" It was relaxing, reinforcing, and supportive.
