Cynthia Prizant has enjoyed drawing, painting, sculpting and creating a variety of artwork for most of her life. After an extensive career in software consulting and project management, she decided to marry her artistic skills with her project skills and apply them to the world of interior design. Her approach to design is like painting a canvas, using color, texture and composition to create a desired sense of space.
Cynthia is credentialed as a LEED Accredited Professional and Certified Interior Designer. She is the recipient of the ASID Orange County 2010 Platinum Awards for both Living Room and Bedroom. She was recently awarded Best of Houzz 2016 for both Design and Service. Cynthia also serves on the ASID Orange County California Board as Professional Development Director 2015-2016.

Services
The first step in the design process is to gather as much information as possible about you, your space, your lifestyle, your preferences and your dislikes. Photos of spaces or design elements that you love, and those that you don't like help to clarify your design preferences. We review and discuss your collection of magazine clippings, example images, and snapshots to help set the direction for the design style.
At this stage of the process, we revisit all of the components from Step 2, modifying, editing, adding more details and fine tuning each component of the design. We create a detailed and dimensioned floor plan for each space. From this, you will know how each space will be laid out and where each element will be placed.
Now is the time to turn the design into reality. If there are changes from the review in Step 3, they are incorporated into the design and the implementation process begins. We manage the purchasing process for elements on the shopping list that you are purchasing through us. This entails generating purchase orders, managing the order process, tracking order fulfillment and coordinating warehousing and delivery.

Cynthia has a wonderful eye for color. The colors and furniture she recommended for my home were perfect! Without her, I'm afraid I would have made costly mistakes. I felt she really listened to my needs, then picked fabulous pieces for my home that fit our lifestyle and space beautifully. Having Cynthia design my home was one of the smartest home moves I've ever made.
