Two fried eggs, Cabot cheddar and your choice of Robie Farm sausage, North Country Smoke House ham, or bacon. Two scrambled eggs, baby spinach, mushrooms, parmesan & garlic aioli on a whole wheat wrap.

We loved stopping at Mon Vert after walking through quaint Woodstock. Comfy seating upstairs, got the smoked salmon club and chicken Caesar wrap. Both were excellent.
Service takes a little while, we waited about 20 min for food. But they have a disclaimer at the register and everything is hand-made to order so it’s worth the wait!

Nice little breakfast and lunch spot in Woodstock. Really friendly staff and very helpful. The menu had lots of options including vegetarian and vegan. The woodsy wrap with eggs, mushrooms, spinach in whole wheat wrap was very tasty. Really tasty egg sandwich with avocado, although be prepared it's messy to eat. Challah French toast was really good. It is a well run restaurant and although it can get busy, they have a good flow so the tables turn over pretty frequently. It's a great fund for breakfast and lunch.

Deeeeeeeeelicious cappuccino... they actually know how to make a REAL cappuccino not just a latte calling it a cappuccino! Food is yummy, gluten free available for basically every item on menu, which I needed.... atmosphere is really nice with the local artists they display, it has a good energetic vibe, we ate breakfast here all 4 days we were in Woodstock. Definitely will be back

The food is excellent.
But the operations struggle when there's high demand and the service culture is lacking. Both are fixable.
During high demand, which is often (lunch, weekends, etc), wait times for a small food order can easily be an hour. On weekends they turn off online ordering, presumably to mitigate demand? Reminds me of government websites that have scheduled downtime for maintenance. It's awesome that Mon Vert has such high demand but I really wish they would figure out how to meet it more efficiently. They did move to a larger space a few years ago - maybe it&apos

Went in for coffee and a sandwich. Was only told after I paid that it would take 30 minutes. I had the time to spare but shouldn't you tell this to your customers before taking the money? Furthermore the young lady taking the order acts like she's doing you a big favor by taking your order. Maybe have a person who actually likes people to interact with your clientele? When sandwich finally came out it was tasty, but the poor customer service and chaotic vibe of the place is not pleasant.

Overhyped, IMO.
Stopped in for breakfast while passing through town. The service was OK, but the layout is chaotic and crowded, with no clear indication of where to get what, where to wait, etc. Took almost half an hour to get my food, which was OK, but average. The prices are on the high end, especially for the food. My wife added blueberries to her order, for $2 (maybe $3), and there were only a few berries on the side.
I considered writing this review, but was on the fence until I got an unsolicited marketing email from them via Square -- apparently using my credit card automatically

Cool little place but very crowded. There were at least 20 people constantly in a line. No guided seating. There are some outdoor seating. There is a second floor but no sign tells you the second floor has seats that you can look for.
I was trying to decide what coffee to have while 20 people behind me waiting. I can only pick from what's on the board...I got a autumn foliage latte (it says maple syrup and expresso) but when I got it it is just a grosser version of pumpkin spice latte. I asked the staff (at the coffee counter) why this one contains the spices and what's the difference

Good coffee. The latte with maple syrup is decadent and nice treat to indulge in. Sandwiches are okay. It's one of the few coffee shops/cafes in the area so it's very busy and difficult to get a seat. Other customers can be very pushy and rude. One woman took my seat next to my sister while I was ordering and refused to get up when I returned. It was a weird. Aside from the pushy and entitled clientele, it's a nice, cozy place. No wifi and always check their Instagram or a give a ring to check if they're open because they close randomly sometimes.

Wow this is a popular place on a Sunday afternoon! Line was about 20 deep. We waited in line, placed order then went upstairs to wait for food. It took 20 min which was good considering how packed they were. Gal that our order was delightful. We had the Cobb salad and smoked salmon club. Cobb salad was awesome and I'm not a fan Cobb. Didn't even reAlly need dressing. The sandwich was good but it was served on baguette which was too crusty and crunchy. It is hard to that kind of sandwich on that bread.

Super busy place on a Friday afternoon, but worth it. They offer outdoor seating and seating upstairs, but finding a table was tricky. Next time I will take my food to go and sit at a picnic table nearby! The food does take 20-30 minutes, which we were warned about beforehand. The location is amazing and if you can snag an outside table, it's very pleasant.
They offer a large variety of breakfast food and sandwiches. The Gobble it Up was really good. The home fries were my favorite thing we had. Salads were fresh with amazing homemade dressing. Next time we'll try some of the delicious

Restaurant is in a cute old house with lots of charm. My biggest and only complaint is not having a water dispenser upstairs in the seating area (also watch your step because the floors are NOT level)
I got an "autumn foliage" latte- a maple latte with cinnamon and nutmeg. The spices were Really heavy handed and it kind of ruined it, but by the time it cooled off enough for me to try it, my food had arrived and I didn't want to wait another 15 minutes for another latte. Cute cafe right in the village of Woodstock, VT! So incredibly picturesque with amazing food & coffee as well!
We arrived on a Saturday morning, right before they had a rush! You order inside at the counter and if you eat in, they bring your food to your table. We chose this location from the great reviews on Yelp and wanted a breakfast spot that was dog friendly with great coffee. Mon Vert checked all those boxes! Inside they explain all food is made to order so be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes. We grabbed our coffee and hung outside at our table. The wait definitely wasn't as long

Unique café and sandwich shop located in the heart of Woodstock. It's a cozy place with locally sourced ingredients and features local artists' paintings on the walls. The coffees were solid but my favorites were the lunch sandwich options! Everything is fresh and tasty, you do get your money's worth! We visited twice during our stay in Woodstock.

Cute little cafe with delicious coffee and food! I got their autumn spice latte which is similar to a pumpkin spice latte but with maple. It was very tasty. I also got a lox bagel that was a big portion and also delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful in figuring out what I should get. Would definitely recommend checking this place out if in the area!

Nice little spot for brunch. Beautiful day to eat outside. No rain from Tropical Storm Henri here!
Decided on the Popeye the Fungi and the Mon Vert cristo. The Popeye was a big suprise. Mushroom, spinach, grilled onions and Cabot cheddar cheese on a multigrain bread. So delicious!
The Mont Vert cristo was interestingly good. French toast that sandwiched ham and cheese with a side of real maple syrup. It wasn't what I'm used to for a monte cristo sandwich.
All in all, a good meal. It also was a nice spot to sit and watch downtown Woodstock go by.

We were in town and this place caught our eyes for its quaintness and cozy. I got the coffeehouse brisket sandwich which came in a nice soft baguette. It came with a few small gherkins which added that nice touch. The brisket was cooked perfectly and you can taste each component. My wife got the oink and cluck sandwich on gluten free bread and she too quite enjoyed the simplicity of bacon with chicken sandwich. My son got the chicken quesadilla and he liked the stickiness of the ooziness of the cheese and actually ate the tomato bits in his quesadilla. Alright!!! All in all, a great non

Pretty location, love that there is indoor and outside seating available. The Lox and Christo were delicious and the staff was friendly and very attentive. This place seems to be very popular with locals, and I can see why. The owner was also present and made sure to speak with us and thanked us for visiting. It seems like there is a lot of love put into this cafe

8/1/21 - we stopped in for breakfast to go. The food is as great as the menu makes it seem.
Plan ahead as Mon Vert is open earliest of surrounding eateries and tends to attract people right at opening ( there were four people waiting when we arrived at 7:30).
The takeout process has them place your food on a shelf in the corner.
If it’s crowded you’ll need to make your way in to see if your order is ready as the bags might not be visible from the doorway.
The food was ready when they said ( about 15 minutes ) and tasted great.
I recommend this for anyone thinking of heading out to pick

If you have only one chance to eat breakfast in Woodstock, Mon Vert Cafe should be the #1 choice. It has good coffee options and I really like its bakeries; the other items of breakfast are fine. If you come from a city and are used to being fast-paced, you need to be prepared for long waiting after you placed your orders. Laid-back seems the typical style of Woodstock. Its staff are not as warm and friendly as other restaurants in Woodstock.

I moved up from Philadelphia about a year ago but have been to Mon Vert a bunch of times before the pandemic. I stopped for a coffee a few days ago and luckily it was empty. Usually they are extremely busy so come early and not on a weekend if you want to avoid large groups. I’ve always been happy with my food and the coffee is good too! I’d recommend checking it out but if you plan on going during busy hours be prepared to wait. I’m glad they continue to take precautions for covid safety. Running a restaurant during all this must be extremely taxing. So I’m thankful they continue to try

What a great cafe! Great selection for breakfast and lunch. The lox was amazing and filling! They have a great selection of drinks too, tried the tumeric latte, which was interesting to say the least. The apparently serve alcohol too. Service was great. Had a new guy take our order and his patience was outstanding. The customer he had right before us was a nightmare of a customer, the kind who wants an egg sunny-side up, but not runny, and not over cooked, and wants you to repeat her bossy instructions kind of customer. The entire service staff was just great. Highly recommend!
