I really don't like tearing apart small businesses but when I entrust someone with my hair its hard when they don't listen and I feel like I can't say anything. It really sucks going home and crying because your hair looks way different then you wanted and you are trying to shampoo out blue and lavender repeatedly. Just hoping your hair "might look nice as it fades." My hair was cooper red at the roots when that is literally the one thing I asked to not happen at my last appointment. I was double booked and had ice cold water rinsing out my hair with the stylist having concern for the person after

Morgan was AMAZING. She did low lights in the hair making it so elegant and natural. I’m absolutely in love with it! The place is so cute and the products are top quality with amazing smell (ended up leaving with some). Highly recommend Morgan at Alchemist.

Wonderful little salon. I'm new to the area and I've found my salon!!! Chelsea is Amazing! Chelsea asked me great probing questions that helped her understand my needs and direction to proceed. Products used are light and effective. No chemical smell like some salons. Airy fresh succulents decor. The other stylists and owner are friendly, personable, chat with everyone. Reasonable prices for high class work/results!

Chantel is the best I've been to in Reno. Did excellent work on my cut, highlights, and style. Better quality work than I ever had at other well known salons in the area. Better prices too. And to top it off, she was incredibly nice. Did exactly what I asked, didn't make the mistakes I've encountered at the other salons, and was so engaging and pleasant in conversation. She's my new favorite stylist, and I won't be going anywhere else for my hair in Reno-Sparks.

Chantel is absolutely amazing!!! She has been doing my hair (which is long, thick, and honestly a bit challenge for pretty much every stylist I've seen in the past) for about two years and I never leave dissatisfied. Whether I am just describing to her what I have in mind or I bring her a picture with requests for various modifications, she somehow always manages to give me exactly what I am thinking of. I have never been happier with a hairstylist than I am with Chantel.

Chantel always knows how to cut and style my hair. I have weird curly/wavy hair but she always makes me feel like a rock-star. Been coming to her for 10+ years and will be coming back for more! High fashion, but conservative cut and styles. I always feel really amazing and cool when I leave Alchemy! If you want an awesome cut, style, color, whatever -go see Chantel!
