In the mid-seventies, Wayne Garfield joined the Air Force with the intention of learning the welding trade. Upon his discharge, Wayne pursued his welding career by working for companies making aluminum tuna towers, pulpits, t-tops, and large-scale fishing vessels. Over the next forty years, he honed his skills and acquired licensing to fulfill his dream: owning and operating his own welding shop.
