At Carissa's, what began with something as "simple" as baking bread has evolved into a locally-minded kitchen and community hub. Within our counter-service, all-day bakery we sell European-style breads, viennoiserie and vibrant cakes inspired by the surrounding flora, all baked on-site in our bright and sunny, modernist space.
Our dishes are based on the principles of wholesome ingredients that honor the season, in addition to fresh juices and coffee. We practice living life responsibly. That means minimizing waste and use of plastics, and--through thoughtful sourcing--supporting the small growers and producers near us who prioritize organic and sustainable farming, fair trade practices, and overall transparency.

Services
Baked with wheat flour then given days to reach maximum flavor and peak fermentation before baking. Baked with bread flour, freshly milled locally grown oats, rolled oats, local honey, and oil. Baked with locally grown rye, salt, pickle brine, caraway seeds, and a natural rye starter first cultured in Southampton in 1999.
Daily, we offer 6 Chocolate Flourless Cakes daily that serves 6 guests. We also have a limited number of 8 Chocolate Flourless Cakes available Thursdays through Sundays that serves 8. These cakes are gluten-free, topped with whimsical meringue peaks, gold leaf, and organic flower petals that change with the seasons.

Wow where do I begin, excellent food. Probably the best cheesecake I’ve had in my life. We bought two loaves of bread, ate our lunches in the car and went back in for coffee- also excellent. I had the salmon bowl- cooked perfectly, and my boyfriend had the Merguez sausage sandwich. They have a sweet atmosphere, but unfortunately no indoor seating with covid restrictions. As an architect, I also find the building itself & aesthetics are super well done.

Not only is Carissa's one of our favorite weekend go to places (my 3 year old LOVES their buttery croissants - in fact we all do!) But their customer service is impressive. Today I dropped my wallet in their store and went on my way unaware. They tracked me down - my phone number was not in my wallet (note to self!) but I guess they looked me up in their online ordering system. bravo Carissa's - the easy thing to do would have been to put it aside and wait for me to retrace my steps and come back. Really appreciate this.

We came here after our previous lunch plans fell through (twice) so we were in a pretty grumpy mood. This place made us forget all about that. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the service excellent. Their baked goods are really good, from breads to pastries, and the sandwiches we got were delicious. The coffee was also particularly good which is quite unusual for the Hamptons.

The food was amazing! You can easily tell that the ingredients are fresh. We had the mozzarella and the pulled pork sandwiches. We also tried their monkey pretzels and loved it! We also took home a loaf of sourdough and it's really good.

Just excellent! From croissants, pains au chocolat, pistachio rolls, chocolate brioche, pains aux raisins, it is breakfast delight! Sandwiches are also delicious, with fresh, tasty ingredients and great combinations. Friendly service. Being French, I can only say we should have more of this in France ;)

Outstanding and aesthetic interior design! Such a Instagram worthy.
Had a croissant and ham and cheese brioche which were just average, maybe we should have gotten sandwiches or others sweets.
Seems like most people were getting sandwiches to go.
Order online and pickup if you’re in a rush cause weekends are extremely busy even getting a simple black coffee would take at least 10mins.
Can’t wait to try sandwiches and other pastry next time!

Obsessed. Excellent food and very helpful, friendly staff in an elegantly-designed location. Lori was kind enough to recommend several dishes that all sounded good so we didn’t hold back: the Vietnamese Chicken & Rice Soup, Smoked & Braised Brisket Sandwich, Smashed Potato’s and Avocado Toast that we’re perfectly prepared. We also ended up getting some beautiful black tea, a matcha latte, and regular latte with a couple monkey bread bites to wrap up our meal. My only regret is not being able to order everything on the menu! Sometimes when one is asked whether a new place is good out here
