When Larry was a young man, he had his car repaired at a local body shop and was very dissatisfied with the results. Being mechanically inclined, he decided to try to improve the repair himself. Automotive work turned into a hobby for Larry.
This eventually led to the opportunity to paint specialty vehicles for the International Auto Show in Detroit along with Johnny Rutherford's winning Indy car (1974-77), and in 1977, the pace car for the Indianapolis 500.This was also the year Lawrence Auto Body was opened, and he was proud to say he was able to bring the expertise and quality required at this level, into our collision repair business.

1. Metalwork: Provided is a Lifetime Limited Warranty, from effective date stated herein, on all metalwork and framework, to include welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting or deterioration, excluding rust repairs.
2. Painting, Stripes and Decals: Provided is a One (1) Year Limited Warranty, from effective date stated herein, on painting-related priming and paint work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing, and excessive loss of pigmentation, and, a One (1) Year Limited Warranty on the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals.

Just another very happy customer of Lawrence Auto Body. They take great pride in the work they do. As other reviewers mention, they go above and beyond which is rare to find in any business these days. I have a 2012 Toyota Tacoma with nearly 200,000 miles and was rear ended. It was a $5,000 job and barely within the insurance value of the vehicle. Although my insurer would only give me $6,000 for it, it is worth much more to me since new Toyota pickups start at $28k. Lawrence auto body is by far the best, and highest quality shop around. I have been going to them for 20 years now. Not once after 7 cars painted there have I ever had a problem with paint quality or longevity. They color match to near perfection, even on 20 year old cars! Don't hesitate to give them a call, you will not be disappointed.

They only provide 2 things here: Good Customer Service and Great Skills in repairing cars. I've been lucky in the fact I've only had to use an auto body place 2 or three times in 25 years, but this place is great. They are fast, knowledgable and friendly. My car looks better than it did the day I bought it. The last thing you want to do is go to a chain/franchise. This place puts their name on the door and they act like it. The image below IS (not my car), but if it was, I'd trust Lawrence Auto Body.

If the words "top notch" were to ever describe a place, this would be it. Not only do they know their stuff, but the kindness and expertise that they deal for their customers is phenomenal. My car had accidently rolled down a hill, and in due process the open door had struck my neighbors mailbox. Needless to say, the door's hinges were shot, and the door itself wouldn't close properly and would barely even open. Any auto repair we have needed in the past 10+ years we bring to Lawrence. The work they do is above everyone else. From start to finish they are very professional. They are very knowledgeable and spot on with parts and labor. Any time we are in need of auto repair we will take the vehicle to them no question. Hands down the best at what they do.
