V & V is a privately held company whose officers are actively involved in the daily operations of the company. We have the ability to complete Workers Compensation, General Liability, Fleet and other types of insurance premium audits as well as Personal Lines and Commercial Lines Loss Control Inspections.
The audit process is initiated with a complete understanding of exactly what you, our clients, are looking for as an end product. A Premium Audit can be conducted to verify the accuracy of premium rates, commissions, and administrative fees. Premium remittances, fee allocations, and the report development thereof, are tested for accuracy.
The Premium Audit Department specializes in casualty underwriting of insurance Premium Audits. We have a full-time staff of auditors handling the states of NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA, PA, DE, MD, and DC. Our staff does 100% of the work: we do not make use of individual independent contractors as they can be unreliable.
Upon receipt of all assignments, the Premium Audit Coordinator's office contacts the insureds the same day or within 24 hours to verify the contact information e.g. At this point, the field auditor will complete the assigned audit. All appointments are initially scheduled via phone with follow-up email sent to the audit contact i.e. insured, accountant and agent; specifying records and information needed for the audit.
