As we anxiously looked forward to finding our little slice of the American Dream, the idea of being able to paint and decorate the nursery just how we wanted without having to ask a landlord, filled us with excitement.
While the decision to buy our first home was filled with joyful expectation, the experience of buying that home turned out to be challenging, difficult and frustrating. Rick is simply the best! We decided to sell our home and first went with an agent that was known to our family for sometime. We got very disappointed because she was not fighting for us, she took long to communicate and when she did, she would give half baked information. She was always coming up with excuses for the house not selling for example; there are way too many homes on the market, your house lacks this/lacks that and so on.

What an amazing organization! Knowing that it’s been a difficult year+ for many people due to Covid, owners Rick and Jennifer Fuller provided FREE Professional Photographs to families, clients and friends. The Oakley venue was at the Beautiful Brownstone Gardens where there were 3 different picturesque scenery’s to have photos taken by Discovery Bay Studios. In hindsight I think we should've used a real estate agent that spoke our language and had cultural awareness from the beginning of the process all the way to the end. There were areas that could've been improved. We experienced a lot of frustration trying to purchase because this was all new to us. Our parents were co-buyers, but we had difficulty explaining all of the complexities to them because we can't translate this type of stuff well (we're American born). We already noticed from the first meeting that there was little patience with us since it took time for us to digest the info and translate

If someone is busy you don't call them back repeatedly back to back like a jealous ex. Grandma isn't dying here, we're talking about seeing an income property. It's just rude.
An excuse that it's your policy to call back multiple times in a row isn't justification. No one cares what your policy is.

Selling a home can be a scary experience. At least for me, I thought it was going to be. Where do I start?! We had the pleasure of working with both Shelby and Rick--- they are both honest, trustworthy, totally professional, knowledgeable and dependable! Rick Fuller and his hard working team has come thru for us again. I'm so happy he was recommended to us through a friend from our church. We have purchased two homes from him, and had him vet our tenants for our rental property. They responded quickly and professionally and in 1 week we had a new tenant and a signed lease. Turn around on rental properties can be costly; especially if you don't get a tenant who will treat your property as their own. Finding a good tenant can be a long and drawn out process. Looking for a rental these days is very overwhelming. A lot of listings have many requirements just to apply or even to just get more information about the listing. And a lot of other applicants applying for the same property.
I met Shelby at a open house and right away she made me feel comfortable and explained the process for the current property. She kept in constant communication even with my many emails. And offered to show me more properties if the one I was viewing did not work out.

My wife and I were recently looking for a home to rent and we had the good fortune to look at a property offered by Rick Fuller. It was perfect and we really wanted to rent it. We aren't really used to working with management agency's as we've both worked directly with landlords in the past. We were a bit nervous about the whole application process, credit checks etc,.. However Rick made it all easier, he was courteous, responsive, communicative and over all very very helpful. We've now been at our new home for a month and it suits us perfectly.
