3 Sticks Lawn Care is a locally owned, family operated lawn care and landscaping business. It was founded by Bobby Herold III in 2004 while attending Battlefield Highschool in Haymarket, Virginia. Throughout college, he would commute back to Haymarket from James Madison University, almost every weekend during the season, to continue servicing his lawn and landscaping customers.

3 Sticks Lawn Care is the go-to company in Prince William County to handle your lawn and landscaping needs. We have been servicing customers lawn and landscaping needs in Haymarket, Gainesville, Bristow and surrounding areas for over 10 years. We treat every property with enormous amounts of care and detail, as if it were our own.
Lawn Maintenance - Your lawn will receive a weekly cut, trim, and edge from early April to November. All adjacent features surrounding your lawn such as patios, trees, fences, etc will be trimmed with a string trimmer. Grass clippings will be blown off all surfaces including walkways, patios, and driveways.
3 Sticks Lawn Care is the greatest thing that has ever happened to our lawn! Being the parents of two children involved in many activities means extra time is hard to find. By entrusting 3 Sticks Lawn Care with the maintenance of our landscaping and lawn, we not only have one less thing to think about, but we also have one of the nicest lawns on our street.
What if it rains on my scheduled lawn mowing day? If we are delayed due to rain, we will make an effort to come out later in the day, if possible, or the next available day depending on the weather conditions. Sometimes, we may be rained out an entire day and it may us take a day to get back on schedule.

We used Bobby and his crew to aerate and overseed. Like always, he is professional, efficient, and has our yard looking spectacular every spring. In a pinch, I have also relied on him for lawn mowing when I am out of town or just don't have the time. Once again, fantastic job. I would highly recommend his services.

Bobby and Crew consistently keep our yard looking like one of the best in the entire neighborhood. They come early and finish quickly.
They are extremely reliable, very polite, and work damn hard. They offer lots of other services too which we take advantage of from time to time. Hedge trimming, mulching, etc.
Easy to communicate with and we are very appreciative of having found them. Have been using them for 5/6 years now I believe. Highly recommend. A+

Bobby and his crew at 3 Sticks are absolutely amazing. They always do a great job, and they always do it when they say they will. Thanks to them, our lawn, beds, and bushes look great. Their prices are quite reasonable as well. Best of all, they are totally professional and very service-oriented. I've reached out to them several times with a question or special request, and they have always responded within hours, gotten me an estimate quickly, then arrived with a skilled crew and done terrific work. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I contacted Bobby at the end of the 2018 mowing season to replace my former provider. I have not had much luck with communication and responsiveness from lawn care services until I met Bobby and my discovery of his company was quite a happy accident. The difference in the service level is night and day. 3 Sticks whipped our bushes and mulch beds into wonderful shape for us after winter left them quite bedraggled. The crew showed up when they said they would, did a beautiful job, and were fairly priced.
