Although not as common as individual Chapter 7 cases, businesses can file under Chapter 7 as well. The main difference is that a business debtor will not receive a discharge in a Chapter 7 case. The case is used as a means to sell assets in an efficient and transparent manner and distribute the money to the creditors of the business.
Being a creditor in a bankruptcy can be confusing. Knowing your rights may help you recover all or part of the debt owed to you and keep you from running afoul of the Bankruptcy Court. Adversary Cases are essentially lawsuits brought within the Bankruptcy Court.
Among the many potential reasons for an adversary case, the suits can be used by creditors to enforce their rights, by the United States Trustees office to challenge a debtor's ability to receive a discharge, or by debtors to discharge certain debts.Often, an initial retainer used to file a bankruptcy case does not cover these suits.

Matt was super great to work with and was always very responsive. Had some crazy stuff happening and Matt was on top of everything so fast. Attornies can often get a bad rap but Matt is truly one of the good guys in a world that seems full of people just out for themselves. Hope to never need his services again! Lol

Matt was efficient, effective and professional. He was there to answer questions when I had them and can help calm you down over anything you might be having increased anxiety over. I think I got a very good deal/value for his help in the filing. Follow his guidance and I don't think you could go wrong choosing him as your attorney.

Done!
It took me several months to decide that Bankruptcy was the best option for me.
The next question was: Should I represent myself and do it on my own? After much thought, I realized that doing it myself was foolish and clearly not the smartest decision. I needed a professional Bankruptcy Attorney to represent me.
I googled Bankruptcy Attorney in the Missoula area and found Matt Shimanek. I called him and left a message. He promptly returned my call.
After just a few minutes, I knew... my gut told me that this was the attorney for me!
Matt was clearly a professional. He knew what questions

Matt was great to work with! He is extremely knowledgeable, understanding, professional, and patient. He streamlined everything and provided clear guidance and focus, and was readily available for answering any questions. I had no idea the process could be so efficient and he took a lot of the stress out of an already difficult process.

Matt was good to work with for the most part. There was a couple things he told me not to do and by not doing what I was going to do, it ended up costing me I don't have. And I felt his response to emails was a little slow but not know how busy he is I can't really judge on that. Other than that he was very good to work with and I would recommend him!
