We call it value-based care, and it emphasizes keeping our patients healthy by coordinating all aspects of your care, including medication and specialty care, as well as focusing on prevention and wellness. Of course, when you choose MAXhealth, we're always here when you're sick or need to see the doctor.
For patients with chronic diseases, MAXhealth's intense approach to wellness and prevention can be extra helpful. These people have forgotten they are SERVICE PROVIDERS. Had a telephone apmt with Dr. K and although I liked her, she said she would have Teresa call me forfollow up. Never heard back. Have an Rx that needs to be renewed and they haven't responded to the pharmacy or my calls. I've had enough of their neglect.

This office has minimal wheelchair/disability accessibility and does not do anything but stick to the bare minimum the ADA requires. I was a patient here for over 9 years. Before me, my father was one of doctor Mishner's first patients at his family practice here in Lakewood Ranch, we watched him expand and brought multiple family members to the practice. I began to fight for an accessible table. A simple one that goes up and down( I'm sure many of you reading this know these simple tables I speak of, they are in offices and hospitals all over our country especially in this state) for people like

The worst medical group that is probably available in the area; customer service horrible, and the way how MAXhealth treats his patient is close to be a scandal. Appointments are never confirmed, its always a surprise and lately if you are not +65 with medical issues they simply dont want your business. I feel bad for the Doctors working there, i have been a patient for the last 5 years and lately being dropped because i am not within the age of interest.

I think this is a great doctors office. The staff has always been super helpful and friendly to me. I've been going there for a few years now and never had any issues. In addition, I have also seen many of the doctors and had great visits. Dr. Lekovic has really been a great doctor, he listens to my issues, takes the time to fully answer questions, and I never feel like I am being rushed out of the office.

This is not at all attributed to my Dr., she is the only reason I continue to go to the office. The operations however is terrible. They have given away my appointment more than once to someone behind me and I have had to wait over an hour. I hate every time I have to go in. However, Dr. Kassabov should open her own practice. She is hands down the best doctor I have ever seen. She is caring and spends a lot of time with you and answers all your concerns.

Recently I had an issue that caused me to seek treatment at an urgent care facility. The doctor prescribed antibiotics and referred me to MaxHealth at Lakewood Ranch. I called for an appointment and was told that no appointment was available until November. They did have a slot two weeks out with the PA, Wesley Hardin on August 7 so I scheduled. The office staff were very busy when I arrived and handed me the expected mass of paperwork. This was not completed before being called back. Mr. Hardin came in, asked a few questions, and did a cursory examination. He agreed that my abdomen was tender

Impossible to get prescriptions refilled. Impossible to speak with a human being regarding prescriptions. Don't bother leaving a message, your call WILL NOT be returned. This is not the first time I have experienced this problem with them. 10 days before I ran out of blood pressure meds the pharmacy began trying to get refill approval. No luck. I am now without meds and it is the day before Thanksgiving. I know that they are busy, but so am I. I have hours spent on the phone leaving messages with tem, and asking the pharmacy to keep trying to get a response from them. DO NOT use this provider.

I have been seeing Dr Kassabov and Wesley Hardin for over 2 years. I love both of them. They both are patient and answer all my questions. They have done such thorough exams they have found things my previous doctor never looked for who I.had seen for several years. Wesley helped me with a problem I have had for years with putting me on natural solution instead of another pill. He always explains why he feels I should do one thing instead of another. He never leaves without asking if I need to discuss anything else. I told them I will gladly see him if Dr Kassabov is busy.

Took a few weeks to get an appointment which is normal for a new patient, only to be told the doctor I was going to see no longer work there. They didn’t call to inform me! Basically saying cooperate should have called me but didn’t excuse.I had to request to leave work early thus losing money to even be able to seen. Would have been nice to know beforehand so I could’ve re arranged my time off. Now I’ll have to find another doctor elsewhere and wait weeks and more time off, very inconsiderate!

Angelastro ran up a $390 bill (this was after Medicare's part of paying for it) at Quest Diagnostics for God knows what. He never really mentioned much about the blood tests. Everything checked out ok.
On the heels of this, I received a bill for $50+ with itemized things the doctor had spoken to me about that I wasn't really interested in, but I humored the discussion. Little did I know, he was only talking to me about them so he could bill Medicare... and me!
Now looking for a new doctor.
