Southwest Texas Optical
If you care about your health, it's time to stop ignoring your eyes. Think about this - we visit our doctor for regular checkups and our dentist for routine cleanings. We even take our cars in for scheduled maintenance. But for some reason most people think that eye exams are only necessary if you need new glasses or contacts.

That's only part of it. Routine eye exams are an important part of health maintenance for EVERYONE and can detect signs of serious health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, changes in vision, and more. Our Southwest Texas Ophthalmologists specialize in treating sight threatening diseases of the eye such as cataracts, macular degeneration, and glaucoma, which in some cases have no warning signs.

This is again another doctor that takes advantage of the lack of medical facilities in this city and tries to exploit as much money as he can. Overbooking appointments and charging just as much. If that was not enough they charge debit/credit card users an additional 10 dollars. The area that holds your prescription charges also ten dollars to request a copy. The complimentary coffee has signs posted over them to regulate use. I usually go to San Antonio or Laredo but decided on the convenience of going to a local clinic. I immediately regretted the decision as soon as I saw the ridiculous amount
