I've eaten at Thai Cafe more than once. It was a decent restaurant before SARS-CoV-2 hit, but the pandemic & one woman leaving the management apparently hasn't helped matters. The last two times I stopped by, the food took almost a half-hour to get to my table despite the fact that almost no other customers were inside at the time. Nor were there too many Uber Eats or other delivery drivers stopping by. I got a sense that they lack organization in the kitchen. The food is mediocre at best.

Walked in and not greeted for about 2 minutes. When I was greeted I asked for a menu and her response was rather harsh and she said we have no paper menus. I asked if I could see some sort of menu so my friend could order as she was waiting in the car. The waitress got mad and then grabbed a laminated menu for me to use. When I placed the order she said to wait in the car and she will bring it out. When she came out I noticed no peanut sauce. We have ate at this place a couple times. Inside is comfortable, clean although a little small. The yellow curry was very very good. The taste was a little sweeter than normal but very savory. The last trip I had chilli basil and it was very good as well. I knock off a start for two reasons. First it is a little more expensive for less food. Second they did really bad on thai fries rice on a previos visit.

Went for a Friday night dinner. We love this place and our first time back and OMG...horrible. We ordered crab Rangoon which was not crab Rangoon but some weird yellow goop. Main course we ordered pad sew which one of our fav...however came out and smelled liked a wet dog and could not eat. The final event was the drunk lady tell another customer to blank off. But the server was awesome. Don't know what happened but it is shame because it was one of best thai restaurant in orange park.

The Thai shrimp spring rolls were bland and a bit fishy. The chicken satay made up for it, was excellent! Tom Yum soup was really good as well. The peanut sauce was not like anything I had seen or tasted before … and I can’t say I’m a fan. It was really chunky and had an odd consistency. The spicy Thai sauce is really flavorful though.

They were out of some ingredients, which is ok because we know there are delivery problems. However, they were still charging the same prices without taking into account the missing stuff. If a dish is supposed to have shrimp, scallops and octopus, and they only have shrimp, then you need to add more shrimp to make up for the missing scallops and octopus. This concept was beyond their understanding, and still charged the same price for the skimpy dish.

I spent almost $40.00 at this place for 2meals, and in my order was 3 orders of Fried Spring Rolls. I loooovvee Thai food and always order Spring Rolls, so I know how they are supposed to taste, I've even ate at this location a time or two, and they didn't taste like they did tonight, they tasted old like they had either been frozen for a while or just there for a really long time and very tough to bite but not burnt, again there were 3 orders and 2 came with each order, there were 4 left that were not eaten and 2 were only tasted, I wasn't going to give them the half eaten ones

Aw, man. I was really looking forward to trying this place based on the reviews. My pad Thai was flavorless, dry, and the shrimp were rubbery. My friend has either # 30 or 31, some sort of seafood dish. It was also gross. Both dishes smelled bad too. The service was also abysmal, especially since there was only one other table.

I have been to this restaurant several times and have savored every app and dish I have ordered. The Vegetable Basil dinner is great: loaded with red/green bell peppers, carrots, celery, broccoli, basil. I love to add chicken to it. They give you soup or salad with most entrees. The ginger dressing is to die for!!! I always get extra and put it on my rice.
The waitresses are super cordial.

Two errors in two days !! Order vegan gluten free soy free pad Thai. She has lots of question (needs to be educated on food allergies) I finally get my food to discover it has eggs in it. Tossed it in the trash since I was already home.

This is a hidden gem in plain sight. The service is amazing with friendly and efficient staff. The menu is extensive and they are willing to make adjustments as needed for taste preference or allergies.
We had the salmon curry. It was a nice piece of salmon covered with a massaman curry sauce and nice pieces of mixed vegetables. The nice presentation included a rose. My companion had the shrimp with snow peas. The snow peas were crisp and the shrimp was large and tender. Again the sauce was amazing with a wine base. Our other companion had the pad Thai. The noodles were covered with a rich sauce

I love coming to this little cafe it's so quaint and friendly you feel like you're going to your friend's house to have some good cooking. They have a great variety of food a Vietnamese food. They are very knowledgeable about their menu so far all the foods that I have tasted here I have not been disappointed.
The prices are very reasonable they have the prices on the menu and they have different varieties of spice and how spicy you might want to have it.
I recommend to bring your family kids, quick romantic date, to this Cafe I definitely will be coming back.

My lunch was good ate Thai Cafe. I was pleasantly surprised with the chicken noodle soup. It was not your traditional flavored chicken noodle soup. I would order it again and especially if I was sick and wanted some soup. My masaman dish was good as well. The masaman dish was very tasteful. I would visit again if I'm in the area. The servers were very friendly.

This looks like not much of a restaurant, but don't let the outside fool you. It is one of the best Thai restaurants in town that is not well known. My boyfriend usually doesn't eat Thai food, since the dishes can be spicy and full of curry. But this visit changed his mind! The owners are super friendly and will check on you often to make sure the food came out the way you wanted it and that the service is perfect.
