Services
In 1950, a journey of growth and expansion started and continues today. There was a need for mental health services in southern Oklahoma. We met the need and continue to seek new opportunities. We continue to look for the growing needs in southern Oklahoma and find solutions to them. Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers works with adults, children and families to reduce or eliminate the symptoms of mental illness and/or substance abuse.
Our crisis unit provides services to adults in an emergency crisis. A person in a crisis can voluntarily come into our crisis unit, or can be "Emergency Detained" and brought in by law enforcement personnel. We serve the unmet needs of people experiencing personal crisis or mental health issues and respond with services that promote coping, emotional health and well-being.
We want children to have the best opportunity to grow and flourish. Lighthouse provides support for children of all ages to help address challenges that are interfering with their daily lives. All children and youth have the right to happy, healthy lives and deserve access to effective care to prevent or treat any mental health problems that they may develop, such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
We have a team of individuals whose primary goal is to assist you by making sure all of your doctors and counselors are talking to one another to help you live a longer, healthier life. We will provide you with extensive care to help with a variety of concerns such as chronic illnesses, addiction, anger management, anxiety disorders, health prevention needs, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, trauma recovery, and more.
We work closely with nonprofits, businesses, and schools within each of our nine counties. For example, we provide speakers for educational programs. We send counselors to schools when a crisis occurs. We have contracts with businesses to provide a work-based intervention program that assists employees in resolving personal problems that may be adversely affecting the employee's performance.

After my son and I went through a hard time, we were referred to Lighthouse for family therapy. I was skeptical at first, but now I am so grateful to have worked with a therapist because my relationship with my son has never been better. The people at Lighthouse we're so open and accepting to us, even when I felt like I shouldn't have to be there. They helped me stick with it, and now I suggest it to anybody who is having a hard time like me.

Unprofessional and uncoordinated. After changing counselors 3 times, they delivered a counselor for my son who calls himself a “Doctor” but has no doctorate, and had a lack of boundaries and complete lack of knowledge of child psychology and family counseling. Absolutely horrendous services here. Would not send anyone here that needs actual help.

Due to privacy purposes I am unable to disclose specifics but what I can say is that they are great, everyone I've encountered at this facility is very caring, attentive and kind. I recommend this behavioral health clinic to anyone who needs any kind of emotional support especially during these uncertain times.
