Beautiful, Brand-new, very impressive high school campus surrounded by affluent neighborhoods. Has its own football stadium, soccer field, 10+ tennis courts, 10 basketball courts, a gigantic gymnasium, but for some unknown reasons the committee could not be bother to build a standard Olympic size swimming pool . Instead they spent money on an very odd sized, squared swimming, pool

This school is phenomenal. It is ranked one of the top high schools in the entire U.S. The campus is clean, with great views of Orange County, has plenty of sports facilities, and a dedicated teaching and administrative staff to a level I've found at no other school. This school does little things that others don't, like involving parents in how discretionary funds should be spent on school activities, and providing a police presence, not because the students are bad or warrant it, but so the kids can know the police and they can know the kids on a personal level, rather than have the only interaction

Brand new high school, but I doubt if my son will be able to attend. We live in a different boundary. We've been here for many events e.g. Easter helicopter egg drop, baseball camp, swim meets. The facilities are nice for swim meets, the food booths are good. Last weekend we ate a really good pulled pork sandwich...and my son got two first place finishes in his swimming events. The weather was great for December, that is what I like about Southern California.

This school is FULL of druggies and bullies. I don't understand why it's rates so highly. Some of the teachers are rude to the kids. This high school is not recommended for students like myself, who don't do drugs, are kind, silent and vigilant. Telling on other students results in being tormented. Don't send your kids here unless you don't mind them being exposed to druggies.

From the rude staff to the rude students: I wanted to leave this school 2 weeks into my freshman year. Ended up leaving after Sophomore year because I wanted to stay for the volleyball program, but it came to a point where I couldn't stand the kids anymore so I had to leave. My counselor told me I didn't need to worry about my plan when I went in to talk to her Freshman year and told me to come back Junior year, a good chunk of my teachers were snooty or lazy and the kids there truly represent the typical Yorba Linda cliche poster child.
