I have been going to Bowen Family Dentisrty for about 18 months. The family oriented atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel at home. I suffer from anxiety and they go out of their way to ensure I'm relaxed. They never overbook and I've never waited more than five minutes to be seen. I'm an OOS student who didn't have a dentist in this area, but my plastic retainer of 8 years snapped so I called to make an appointment to get molds for a new one. Their prices are great, their staff is very friendly (I had a technician named Katie who is training to be a dentist herself and she was awesome), and they made sure the molds were the best they could be to last for at least another 8 years. Highly recommend

Friendly office staff. I have been several times in my time living here and going to school. Last visit had me feeling bad about my experience and I had a filling done. Kept telling me I had extreme teeth grinding and signs of acid reflux, then told me I need a night guard. So I asked several questions about what I was dealing with. His answers were sarcastic and not very sympathetic. His assistant was not very friendly as well. Whole visit left a bad impression with me. I have had good experiences with the woman always running the front desk.

Chelsea is my dental hygienist at this office, she does a fantastic job! I like the water way to clean teeth vs. the metal scraper... none of that is the correct terminology. Very friendly staff and Dr. Bowen does a good job explaining what the concerns are and when/if to do something about it. I've been there several times and have had nothing but great care!

Bowen Family Dentistry has taken over the dental clinic in Herington after Dr. Otte retired. This is really too bad. Dr. Otte was friendly and professional. He took care of a couple of broken teeth that I had in the past. He made the time to do what was necessary. When I went in to the dental clinic in Herington last week for a broken tooth, the… professionalism was not there. The "new" dentist did not introduce herself to me. And when I told her that the broken tooth was on my right side, she started poking around on my left side. She attempted to do an x-ray but had to do it twice. I was

Not that I enjoy my dentist visits ever, but it's my own fault for not taking care of my teeth. The staff at BFD is always very kind and courteous. Their prices are fair and procedures are relatively painless. I really enjoy getting to watch TV while getting work done on my teeth, it helps keep my mind occupied! Thanks!

The staff was friendly and kind during my each of my visits. I was incredibly disappointed when I was billed a year later for a treatment I had already paid my portion per what they said I owed.
Turns out my insurance did not cover the treatment. Make sure you get all of the paperwork from both the dentist and the insurance company and compare their notes. Make sure you're not getting billed for something that was already taken care of.

Love Dr Bowen! I've had several bad experiences with other dentists who kept trying to fix the same thing and kept failing - Dr Bowen fixed it the first time. I trust him more than I've trusted any of my other dentists! I feel very confident in him. Great work, attention to detail, very patient, very nice, and remembers his patients. I would recommend him to anyone!

My dentist retired and recommended Bowen dentistry. He was right. Carly is my hygienist and she is so kind, gentle and highly skilled at her work. The injections were almost painless (which is one of the huge reasons I liked Dr. Dempsey-I HATE needles and he made it a non-issue). Everyone I have thus far met on the staff is very cheerful, friendly and efficient.

Terrible service. They hurt my feelings and my mom's feelings. Never going back to that crappy place again. The dentist says that I grind my teeth. I don;t grind my freaking teeth. Yes my teeth are a bit short… but I don't grind them for God's sake.
They charge an arm and a leg for dental repairs.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BADLY, and I'm from Chicsgo. ( Waited TWO MONTHS for this appointment). Had an appointment on 24 July 17, arrived on time and was taken ro the back and prepped. Proceeded to wait 45 minutes, with no explanation. Got up to leave, THEN the hygienist spoke asking me why I was leaving. On top of that Dr. Bowen took 2 weeks to address the issue, with a half-assed apology, telling me I was frustrated. No I was DISRESPECTED!

Excellent experience! I have been impressed with Bowen Family Dentistry from appointment scheduling to aftercare. The staff are friendly, patient and attentive. When my husband's appointment had to be rescheduled rather last minute, they were flexible and understanding. The office is clean, modern and conveniently located. I received an email reminder, which I appreciate immensely. Dr. Bowen answered the many questions I had, gave advice I could understand and managed to make me laugh- which is a plus. My routine cleaning was awesome and I highly recommend his practice!
