I promised my son a TV in his room for his 7th birthday. I wanted to surprise him and have it mounted before he got home from school. Problem was, I didn't have a battery for the studfinder and I wouldn't be able to go to the store until later in the evening. I called Joe and he said he could come later in the day. Once I explained the situation with my son and wanting to surprise him, he softened up and was here within the hour with a positive attitude. He was done within a few minutes and was very reasonable with his pricing considering the last minute notice and inconvenience for

Wish I could give a higher rating because Joe was fast in his responsiveness and came out a that week to do the job. So availability was good.

However, the issues were once at the job.
1) had agreed on using 2 wood for the fence and the cost, but he ended up only doing one side and the other he used my existing, citing that he was saving me money, but that was not what we had agreed upon, and i still got charged 100 additional for using my old wood. and the end result, the gate door is too tight when closing and doesn't fully come to a true 90deg angle..
2) they spray painted the existing

I had consulted him to replace all my base boards. I was going to buy new base boards and he was going to paint them, remove old base boards and then put the new ones on. He came to the house and gave me the quote. He told me it will be the same price if he just restores the baseboards. He told me he'll fill in all the cracks, sand them down and paint it. He told me I'd save money since I don't have to buy new base boards and it will look like new. I agreed. Well. All he did was fill in some cracks and painted over it. He never sanded anything down. What's worse is he told us

Jose keeps helping us out this year! I've used him to nail down carpeting, install a door, and attach a light fixture to our living room ceiling. He charges like $75 or more for small jobs like that, BUT he actually responds and shows up on time (unlike many others). Post-COVID, it's almost impossible to get handymen to reply or show up for work, but Jose keeps making himself available. Thanks Jose!

I originally reached out for estimates and this guy responded right away. He did a good job of communicating, but then the day before he was going to come out he said he couldn't come out. I already had my TV and mount ordered - I was ready to go.

When I told him what I wanted, he increased his original estimate. At the end of the day, I didn't even wind up using him. His reliability is very low to me.

I would like to start by saying I REALLY hate leaving negative reviews (check my profile), but I guess I don't have much of a choice here. I reached out to several handy men to get an estimate for installing a prehung door. I expressed to Joe I wanted the door and frame replaced. He assured me I did not need to replace the frame if it was the same size door, which it was. I am not the handyman, so I took his word for it. Specifically, I told him I was OK with either option, so long as it was done right.

He gave me a low cost (which wound up being more) and told me he could come out that weekend

I highly recommend Joe!. He has been super helpful. I've used his services twice. Once to install a ventless washer/dryer and a second time to fix a malfunction shower handle situation that was stressing me out.

He is extremely reliable and his prices are reasonable.

Was having trouble finding someone who would mount and conceal wiring above our gas fireplace. Handeejoe was able to come by and set up without an issue. Everything looks great and would highly recommend for mounting TVs / wiring concealment.
