The Midland Odessa Business and Estate Council is comprised of trust officers, financial service professionals, attorneys, accountants and planned giving/business development professionals in the West Texas area. The Council meets monthly to discuss current issues relevant to estate, business and financial planning. The Council provides a forum for interaction among the members and a local source of continuing education. Most of the meetings qualify for continuing education credits for the member professionals.
Services
The Midland Estate Council was organized and began regular meetings in 1959. Membership was composed of attorneys, CPAs, trust officers and life underwriters. Membership exceeded 35 within the first two years and regularly hosted highly qualified estate planning experts as meeting speakers. Through this organization communication, understanding and friendship among those engaged in these four professions was enhanced substantially.
