Services
Q: What is the procedure for admission to Langdale Place? A: The prospective resident will schedule a meeting with the Executive Director. After a tour of the grounds, building and appropriate unit, the Prospective Resident may then be put on a waiting list. The Prospective Resident will be notified when the unit is available.
At Langdale Place, we care about the needs of each of our residents. Nowhere is this more apparent than in our Personal Care Center - created for senior adults who require assistance on a scheduled basis. May require a special diet, but is self-feeding and can access the dining room for all three meals each day.
In addition to basic services and amenities, "The Palms, " offers a secured unit with its own activities director, a kitchen, living room, front porch and enclosed courtyard. Our Palms offers the same services as personal care but with more oversight and re-direction. Our staff gives much individualized attention as well as our full times activities director devoted to these 14 residents.

I don’t understand why the Executive Director of Langdale Place, Jan Brice, seems to think it is appropriate not to practice social distancing or wear a mask when she is outside of the facility. She openly posts photos of herself in large social gatherings, with nobody wearing a mask, on her public Facebook page. How are family members of residents supposed to feel? She is setting a poor example for other employees and is one of the reasons family members cannot sleep well at night.

We have had a good experience so far as my dad had been a resident for about 3 weeks. They have been very helpful in this transition time! My father is in The Palms since he has Alzheimer’s. This is a hard disease to deal with so we are learning as we go and rheybhve been very good to my dad so far.
