Founded by Danny Collins, we have grown from being a one employee shop, to now having 14 full time employees. Danny was originally from Stokes County, NC, but moved to this area and fell in love with Davidson County. The Glass Shop started in a small shop on north main street in Lexington. In 2008, we moved to a new facility in Lexington expanding to over 12,000 s/f.

We serve all parts of the Triad area and most of NC. We can help you with any residential or commercial glass needs! Our team of qualified and experienced glaziers cut and install items such as: shower doors, mirrors, replacement window & door glass, screens, tabletops, storefront door repairs, custom cut glass for your home or business & much more.

We know commercial glass! Over the years, we have installed many storefronts, curtainwalls, all-glass entrances, partitions, and more. We also can repair doors that are dragging, not locking correctly, or not closing properly. Just give us a call for your repair needs! The Glass Shop started in a small shop on north main street in Lexington.
From custom cut glass tabletops, to any size mirror, or to repair your broken window or storm door--let us help you! Our staff can help guide you in your repair or new glass choice. We offer in house repairs, as well as service calls to your home or office. Estimates are always free! We also custom make window screens and repair your existing screens.
Yes, if your glass needs to be cut to a patterned shape, we can cut it! Please make a paper or cardboard pattern of the shape needed and bring into our office to order or quote. Unfortunately, we do not offer installation for new construction or replacement windows. We can replace the glass in your window---but for an entire new window, we can recommend someone to help you with that!

Fantastic all around! It is so rare to find a company who cares, who stands behind their products and services. I am truly grateful for the friendly service I have had on several visits. Fast, communicative, friendly, the list goes on. All of the staff I have interacted with have been very pleasant! Thank you very much, keep up the great work. I’ll be sure to come back for all my glass and screen work I ever need.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
This company is the absolute worst to deal with. I called asking for glass repair and was ballparked $65. No mention of service fees or anything else. Called back and she "forgot" to tell me the fee is $65 plus another minimum $125 fee. Absolutely terrible service.

Quality glass. I have been a customer longer than I care to say. They have helped me remodel 2 kitchens with glass in door cabinet insets.
Then two beautiful glass showers. Over 20 table tops.
Just had them backlit to house for more projects.
Only place I will ever call.
They treat everyone well and with a great product.
Thank you!

The Glass Shop offers personalized, friendly service. We needed a new shower door and they came to the house, measured the door, made a recommendation and shortly after gave us an estimate. We now have a new shower door that we are 100% satisfied with and the staff were great to work with.

They contracted to fix windows in the condo my son was buying. It took repeated phone calls and intervention from the realtor. After several months the work was finally done but the tore one of the screens. Instead of fixing the screen at the location they took it back to their shop. That was over 6 month ago. Still no screen and they could have shipped it USPS, UPS, or FEDEX. Not a very reliable company. Poor customer service and do not finish the job.
