The Dr. Dan Show, an entertaining and educational weekly talk radio show focused on medicine, will hit airways live. Daniel J. Ladd, Jr., DO is the Medical Director and Founder of Tru-Skin Dermatology in Austin, Texas. He earned his BA from the University of Texas at Austin and received his medical degree from Des Moines University in 1999.
He completed his Dermatology residency at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri in conjunction with the Dermatology Institute of North Texas in 2004. Since Tru-Skin Dermatology's inception in 2004, our practice has expanded to 7 locations all across Central Texas. By having multiple locations, not only are we able to accommodate more patients, but we cut down travel time for our patients as well.

This mission is not only evident in the care we provide at Tru-Skin Dermatology offices but also in the outreach efforts of The Shade Project, a skin cancer prevention non-profit initiative. A portion of every service, patient visit and product purchase at Tru-Skin Dermatology is donated to The Shade Project to help skin cancer prevention efforts.

If you are looking for a true aesthetic artist then look no further than Corina. I drive all the way from Houston to see her every four months like clockwork, and now after seeing her work, the majority of my friends make the "pilgrimage" to see her too. Corina always knows exactly what I need to look refreshed and not overdone. I swear she takes 10 years off my face and neck. She is a true artist! She is also certified and educated on everything under the sun so I feel very comfortable knowing that I'm in good hands. Love you Corina!

First time and the females made it easy and listen and cared for privacy and everything was easy to understand for after care and easy to make appointments! This place was amazing! I had my first visit on Friday and Kristen and the rest of the staff were so kind and professional! I felt so comfortable the moment I walked in the door. I have had MULTIPLE issues with this office. They waver from not disclosing items that will be billed to straight up "doctoring" paperwork to make me pay more.
A couple of years ago when I made the mistake of going the first time, I was billed a few hundred dollars for the visit, paid in full, and six months later found I was set to collections for an additional bill they'd never mentioned for the lab fees. Dr Kahn and her staff were amazing. My eye surgery came out fantastic and were there every step of the way with follow up calls, in office appt and teleconference's. Dr Kahn did a wonderful job with both my eyes for the surgery and they look great. I can see so much more space and light coming in. Plus I no longer feel my eye lids pushing down and feel like I'm looking through a small narrow space. The pain was very minimal and the ointments/meds she gave me help sped up the healing time. I would highly recommend Dr Kahn for any eye surgery as she is clearly a wonderful Dr and amazing

Though I find Dr. Bethany to be Absoloutly wonderful, I have had issue time and time again with billing. I have charges I never had been seen about and when I pay on my accounts for a family, they move it to where they see fit which makes it look like I don't pay as much as I do.
My husband's bill was over $600 and even though ive paid hundreds on it, they've moved those payments to my personal account or my children's leaving my husband-s account to look unpaid. I called numerous times concerned about how this was being handled and was assured that the bill wouldnt be moved

I have seen SEVERAL dermatologists over the last 10 years trying to "age gracefully" and I have to say...I have found my "dermANGEL" AKA Caroline Carr! She really does a GREAT job with any Botox or fillers and never over does it... The results are subtle and amazing :) I couldn't be happier. And I think services / treatments are priced very reasonably. And....if you have actual skin care concerns, i.e. melanomas etc... Dr. Ladd is awesome, too! Lastly...a shout out for the supporting staff... always super friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Dr. Ladd and his staff are the best! My only complaint is that it can sometimes be difficult to get on his schedule at this location because he books out so far but to be honest I don't mind traveling to one of his other locations if needed. They are all equally as wonderful. I haven't experienced any issues with his staff whatsoever. In fact I've experienced his staff going above and beyond on multiple occasions, even taking care of an insurance request that should have been my place to work out.

They missed a lab report recommendation to treat following a biopsy. Then a year later another biopsy came back bad for the same spot. I complained and Tru Skin talked me into SRT radiation therapy but did not explain the costs correctly. They took $436 on their estimate of my out of pocket costs. Now they say I owe another $496 additional. Very poor practices.
They dropped me as a patient saying I have lost confidence in them! No kidding.

I've been a patient of Truskin Dermatology for about two years. I've had regular skin checkups, mohs surgery and other medical treatments (not cosmetic). I've been happy so far, but now they have changed their billing practice and a biopsy is considered outpatient surgery when they file for insurance. Unfortunately I had a bad experience here with injections.
The aesthetician talked me into to trusting her to doing injections of filler. I need up spending way too much money. I was swollen and bruised for 3 weeks.
After the swelling went down the aesthetician agreed the filler was in the wrong location. She tried moving it around
Here it is 3 month later and I still have lumps below my eye on the top of my cheek. Just counting the months until is will go away.
This was and continues to be a bad experience.

This is a nice clinic, but I would appreciate them showing more respect for patients' time. I showed up 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork (it would have been great to have access to this online beforehand, as it was 4 or 5 pages). Thirty minutes after my appointment was scheduled to begin (READ: I had been sitting there patiently for 45 minutes), I still had not been called up. I went to the desk to ask how much longer it would be and was immediately put in a room. I waited there for another 20 minutes before the doctor came in.
