Since 1970, Silverton Pharmacy has been serving Toms River, NJ and surrounding towns with experienced pharmacists, quality products and excellent customer service. Although best known for our fast prescription service, we also carry surgical supplies, health and beauty aids, gifts, greeting cards and much more.
At Silverton Pharmacy, we care for you and about you. We accept all Medicare Part D plans and most prescription insurance plans. Local delivery within a three mile radius is available at a minimal charge. Our pharmacy computer system is updated daily to provide drug-to-drug interactions and patient drug-allergy information.
Our patient care coordinator works on behalf of the patient and acts as a central point of contact between you, the doctor's office and insurance companies. Our pharmacists will explain the correct administration of you medication and are always just a phone call away if you have any questions. Pick up your specialty medications right here at SIlverton Pharmacy or have them shipped to your home or doctors office for pick up.
Depending on your age and medical conditions and vaccination history, you may need one or more vaccinations. At Silverton, we can administer recommended vaccinations, bill your insurance company, and answer all of your immunization questions. Hepatitis A Vaccine- Hepatitis A is most commonly transmitted via contaminated food or drinking water.

Silverton Pharmacy has been our family pharmacy for nearly 30 years. The staff is attentive, caring, and superbly professional. We go to them for all of our prescription needs and as much of our "convenience drug store" and other health needs as possible, in spite of there being both a CVS and a Walgreens near them I encourage people to support their local pharmacies and other independently owned, small businesses as they care about their communities and customers in ways the chain stores don't.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The absolute worst place to get a COVID test. The pharmacists and their website lied to my face that my results would be in within 48 hours and I have yet to receive them. Now I am unable to cross the border for a trip I have had planned and spent a lot of money on. They offer no solution and possess no integrity. Never stepping foot in this establishment ever again and I recommend others not to

As far as pandemic problems, Silverton Pharmacy made it easy to get appointments for testing, vaccines and booster shots. If there are challenges during the process, they showed support and help. Highly recommend supporting this FABULOUS local business...their merchandise, postal service and multitude of extras are supreme icing on an already great cake... All the staff in Silverton Pharmacy were friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful with customers coming in for testing or vaccinations. The Silverton Pharmacy day shift manager is the best. Always courteous and smiling. However the best experience I've had is at the Post Office inside the pharmacy. The clerk Tara is kind to us seniors who need help with out postage needs. You better increase their pay because some smart business is going to lure them away from you. I hope not but their loss would hurt me.

Silverton pharmacy is well known to locals . There is something endearing about an old fashioned pharmacy / gift shop doing so well in 2020. I like the pharmacy because they are typically faster and provide way better customer service than the big pharmacy chains, I also tend to somehow pay less than I usually do at rite aid or cvs .
The only downside is that for regular over the counter items they are very pricey compared to the pharmacy chains .
Their gift items are actually unique , affordable and they even gift wrap . So for my prescriptions and for gift items I go to silverton pharmacy constantly

First thing about Silverton pharmacy that makes it stand out from the rest is the fact that it's not a chain pharmacy... If you need medication and they're out you won't have to wait a week till it's in stock, I went on a SAT and they had it before closing time on a Sunday!! When I couldn't get medication at any of the "top 3" chains, they had it... It's a family oriented, friendly place!

A REAL neighborhood pharmacy! All questions and concerns answered. All through raising my kids right to taking care of my elderly Mom they always made time to talk us through whatever we needed help with. Delivery service available. Beautiful selection of gifts for every occasion. There is a U.S. Post Office inside. If you have children- fill your scripts here!! They are wonderful!!
