George Owren, pictured here with his wife Gail started Humboldt Countertops over 35 years ago. Originally a countertop store and a hardware store, known as "Humboldt Hardware", over time Humboldt Countertops & Surfacing has grown and accommodated the needs of the North Coast. Today HCS specializes in custom countertops for both residential and commercial jobs and is run by George's daughters Kelley Montana and Kari Chalmers.

We offer a wide variety of products for use as countertops, tub and shower surrounds, work stations, wall cladding and furniture. If you have a product you are interested and don't see listed, contact us and we'll work with you to achieve the custom look you envision. Some specialty surfaces include custom wood, butcher block, quartzite and granite.
Sinks and Faucets

We offer both sink's and faucets in a wide array of styles, designs, and functions, from zero radius corners to low-divide basins. You can opt for acrylic, solid surface, stainless steel, porcelain and more. You also have options for how your sink is affixed to your countertop. We can assist you in finding the sink best suited to your needs and personal style.

We are making sure our staff is informed and provided with guidance about cleaning best practices, cough and sneeze etiquette and hand hygiene.
