Zak Tile and Stone is family owned and operated. We enjoy being a small company because it enables us to stay in touch with our customers' needs. It makes us able to give the finest customer service and provide superior quality tile installation. Our Lead Installer, William, is the reason our company came to be.
William began installing tile as a teenager. His "Cousin Jessie" was a seasoned tile installer and recruited William to help him on some projects when William was just out of high school. He thought it would be a great way to make some extra money while going to school. William loved working with the tools, being creative, and most of all, appreciated the happiness customers felt when they saw the finished project in their homes.

We have used Will for two jobs so far and just as Western Tile told us when they recommended him, he is indeed the best. We had an extremely difficult bathroom floor that required delicate and thorough demolition, leveling, and then a mosaic pattern with epoxy grout due to the high traffic nature of this bathroom. Will is an artisan. The bathroom is now perfect. He also did a new stacked stone mantel for our fireplace and built up the new surround to house a gas insert 4" off the floor. The end result is perfect. The work Will does is fast, professional, reasonably priced, very tidy

I had a similar experience as James, except I got as far as having Will come out to the house to do the measurements for the tiling of my two bathrooms. He seemed like a nice enough guy and he promised to send us the bid. After waiting a week I texted him to ask when he might get it to us. Never heard a word. What a waste of time (his and ours)!

Will Zak and his guys have earned a 5 star review based on the following:
1) Responsive from initial phone call to end of project
2) Honest and kind people--felt very comfortable leaving them here while I was away
3) Skill and workmanship is evident in completed work
4) Seemed like fair pricing
5) Completed the job in a timely manner and they were always here when they said they would be
I am for sure going to call Will soon to redo my bathroom. Call this guy for your tiling needs.

Will came highly recommended from Western Tile in Concord. We are so happy we went with him for our kitchen/bathroom tile needs. My fiance and I were 1st time home renovators and very nervous about every decision. Will made a great impression on us from the start. He was trust-worthy, did exactly what he said he would and answered ALL my questions before he left each day. Will and his team did a fabulous job and even helped us out with additional home reno tips and some of our blunders (I broke a tile he had just laid!). Will really goes above and beyond. I highly recommend him and his business

I can't speak to Will Zak's capabilities as he and his partners came highly recommended. However the quality of their operation and follow through is disorganized at best.
I called and left a message on a Thursday, received a call back from his scheduler on Friday evening who said I would get a call next week for a pop-in estimate (as explained there is always someone home and I'm completely flexible to their schedule). Tick-tock and a week later, no call, no message, nothing.
I've gone with a different tile team for my kitchen project.
