Lakeside Specialized Transportation was born in 1980 as a 1-truck tow company. Founded and operated by Jim Fernhoff, we have gone from 1 tow truck, to a fleet of over 50 vehicles, with more on the way every day. Our philosophy is quite simple: do whatever it takes to take care of our customers. Easy to say.

Disappointed, not being able to return a product that is brand new in box, never opened, is not good business practice. Bought them during a storm late at night, it was cold and snowy, so I didn’t realize that they didn’t give me a receipt for the purchase. When I tried to return them because I ended up not needing them, I was told that all sales are final and that it was clearly stated in my receipt. This is a pretty big business to follow poor business practices. And one last thing, these chains are $75 on amazon, I paid $184 for them, Wow!!!!!!

Extremely inconsiderate drivers. Do not follow toad laws or yeild. Just a bunch of "I am better than you" type guys here. Watched a driver nearly smash a car in a round a bout two days in a row now due to not following traffic laws. 2 weeks ago watched a guy cut off tons of traffic just to get into an intersection because he was too impatient. I would have never left this review after the first or second huge road mistake by a transport company but 3 seriously close calls...please keep these guys away from Lake Tahoe. A safe communuty is much more satisfying than one guy killing an innocent child

At 8 am this SATURDAY morning, they parked a trailer alongside my house, right next to my bedroom. For half an hour, it beeped and idled outside my window. Then, it came back half an hour later and did the same. RUDE. There are places to park during the school construction that are NOT OUTSIDE THE WINDOWS OF THE SLEEPING RESIDENTS, especially on SATURDAY morning. Did I mention it was on a Saturday MORNING?
