Greenwood Homes is a general contractor currently building custom homes around Lake Tahoe, in Truckee at Martis Camp, and on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. We are licensed for construction in California, Nevada and Hawaii and we have offices at North Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, Nevada and on the island of Kauai.
This letter is to provide the highest level of recommendation for Kevin Hanna and his team at Greenwood Homes. I wish we had started the project with Kevin! He stepped in to a new building project at Glenbrook after the original builder went into bankruptcy. The home was about 50% complete, or less.
Every project we take part in is an opportunity to show, both clients and the communities we work in, our commitment to environmental awareness through sustainable building practices. On average, green homes use 30% less energy and offer lower operation and maintenance costs. Green building techniques can also increase productivity and profitability, improve overall air quality and create a cleaner indoor environment.

Kevin is honest, a good communicator, and works hard to provide an top class service. He is always available and answers the phone to 24/7, which is extremely important. He also is a problem solver and has a strong eye for detail.
My wife and I have built two dream homes with Kevin and team - one in Hawaii and one in Lake Tahoe.

Kevin Hanna and his Greenwood Homes team stepped in to complete our new home construction project when the original builder went bankrupt. We were only one third into the project when Kevin’s team stepped in. I wish we’d started with Greenwood from the beginning - they were professional, perfectionists, great to work with, detail oriented, clean and highly responsive. The home they completed for us is high end, with lots of custom finishes. This team is a “get it right and get it done” kinda group. We’ve built 5 homes, and Kevin’s team was by far the best. Highest recommendation possible
