It was another great stay at this Kees rental. The house was adorable, warm and welcoming. We loved the daily umbrella, chairs and water service and the house keeping with fresh towels and trash take out service. Very pleased. Love the way Kees does business. I have been renting vacation places in Outer Banks for many years and I think Kees has set a new bar of how service and style should be!
The weather was stormy most of the time, however we could not have been happier with the experience. The house, 'Happy Sol', was wonderful. The family room and kitchen were on the top floor with a view of the stormy ocean to die for. The house had everything we could want. We cook in for family dinners and the kitchen was completely equipped for that.
The conception of KEES Travel was a solution to current vacation rental and timeshare rental markets that only offered weekly stays. We recently had planned to stay in one of the properties rented by Kees Travel. Our flight, among thousands of others, got canceled and we were not able to fly down.
After multiple calls and emails, we were denied any refund whatsoever. $2500 that we will never get back, out of our control on top of not getting to take our trip.
We tried to at least get 50% back or the opportunity to stay at a different time, but this management does not care about customer service at all and all we heard were unkind "no's" along the way.
Don't rent from this property manager - they just want your money and

Beware! I and my daughters had booked here but we’re not able to go because of canceled flight. We Tried to negotiate with them understanding we wouldn’t get all our money back, but we’re hoping for some kind of understanding because this was totally out of our control. They pretty much laughed at us, refused to give anything back! You would hope in these times that places like these would be some kind of flexible or even compassionate to what is going on and not be in it just for the mighty dollar! Swindlers- this comany manages various hotels. I cancelled over 3 weeks before arrival and I still got hit with a 30% fee. I disputed the charge and provided cancellation evidence and Capital One, to my disappointment, still kept the charge. I will be cancelling my credit card soon, too.

Unfortunately we used Kees for a 4-night stay in Nags Head. The idea was to check out the apartment before doing a longer term rental in summer. We arrived Thurs night, left Monday morning. For the duration of our stay there was no internet, no signal with the TVs, no working elevator, rattling windows and poor shower drainage. We were really disappointed. We called them every day during our stay, they sent a handyman who was useless and couldn’t find the router. Then they kept telling us we would get some compensation but we have yet to see a number. It seems weird they are waiting until after
