I'd give 6 stars if I could. This is the epitome of good ol' fashioned customer service. They sell commercial grade cleaning products and equipment. They also rent equipment and even repairs. Staff was knowledgeable about the products, had great recommendations, able to find what she doesn't know and then informs you so you are better equipped to have a successful business. This is what a contractor/supplier relationship should be for mutual success. They act like they have a vested interest in the success of thier customer. Because they do!

This company is holding our money hostage over a negative review. Last year we ordered a part from them and they sent us the wrong item. We tried to work with them for months and they kept promising to issue a refund but never followed through.
I visited their store in person on Jan-9 and returned the part, but they required a credit card number… for the refund which I did not have with me. I was told we could call it in, and it would be issued. Our office administrator called three times (Jan-13, 14, and 15) and even provided them with our credit card information.

We have been trying to get a refund from Northern Chemical for nine months. They keep saying they'll do it, but they don't. They ignore our emails and phone calls. Clyde Hayes consistently lies and it is impossible to get Brenda Hayes on the phone.

It has always been good. Few unsolvable issues but many more solved! Great customer service. I'll be back

Critical: Responsiveness
They sent me the wrong hose for my vacuum cleaner. On Apr. 25 they said they would "send a call tag for the wrong hose today and issuing a credit to your account" It is now September and I still haven't received the call tag or refund.

On point and it's not a sale they want. It is a lasting growing relationship. Both sides gets more from that in the long run. Great people

So happy they are open to the general public. Super Customer Service, both over the telephone, and in-person. Easy drive up Grand Avenue. Very helpful employees who were friendly, informative, customer service driven,inside the store. Had a product I couldn't find anywhere else. Which ended up working perfectly better than I imagined. This will be my go-to place in the future for hard to come by cleaning/janitorial supplies. Highly Recommended!
