Founded as a local metal repair and fabrication firm for the commercial fishing fleet, Bay Welding has evolved into one of the Northwest's premier boat builders.

This seine skiff was one of the largest we have built to date. It had a 500 horse power engine with an 18 Namjet (Traktor Jet) and performed very well. The skiff got on plane easily, was fast, and pulled very hard. The 4850 pounds of Bollard pull is more than most first generation conventional propeller skiffs pulled by more than 1000#.
These boats were designed and built for Cook Inlet Spill Prevention and Response Inc. (CISPRI) of Nikiski, Alaska to be used in spill response training and operations. These mini tugs are fast, maneuverable, and tow hard. These skiffs are built on the highly successful Bay Weld Seine Skiff platform with the addition of an enclosed operators console with a heater and electronics to keep the operator comfortable all day long.
