A special note about children, teenagers, and criminal charges in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court:. Few things are more terrifying and heartbreaking than receiving either "that" call or that piece of paper served by a Sheriff's Deputy or through the mail - the one that says your child has been charged with a crime or a status offense.

In Virginia, there are a number of driving offenses that constitute Class 1 criminal misdemeanors. Went to a consultation with Ellen Rowedder. We liked her and thought that she would be a great fit for a custody matter we had. She told us she would work on a few things and 'follow up in the next couple of days'. We waited a week and then emailed her telling her we wanted to retain her services and asked how we could move forward. We didn't hear anything back so we called twice. Finally 2 weeks later, when we called again, she answered and said she would email the info over and took down our email addresses again. Well, we are still waiting for an email or response and it has now been a month

I've been dealing with this law firm for a year to get my divorce done and the process was so easy. Mine was held up a few but not due to them they did everything they could to make the process as smooth as possible.
