Woodard Forest and Imports, Inc. was created in 1998 and officially incorporated in January of 1999. Kenny Woodard is the founder of the company and has been the President of the company since its inception. WFI was formed as a marketing company to cater to Scandinavian and European lumber manufacturers as a way for them to market their forest products to North American consumers.

We are the exclusive importer for the highest quality European production, including Vida Wood from Sweden. Our inventory includes the full range of boards (1x) and dimension (2x) of all sizes and grades. Your orders can be picked up FOB from our ports or delivered by our logistics department. It is our hope that we can become a vital part of your business through hard work, experience, and quality products.

Vida Wood U.S. provides complete logistic support from our European suppliers to our North American customers. Vessels: Our international vessels continually bring the finest European production across the Atlantic. Loading in the ports of Europe, sailing on the water, and unloading in the port of Wilmington, NC, in the Eastern United States, our stock is replenished every three to six weeks.

Vida Wood U.S. imports the finest premium european spruce products in the market today. We are the exclusive North American sales agents for premium quality european producers, including Vida Wood in Sweden and Schilliger Holz in Switzerland. All our #2 & Better, Standard & Better, and Stud Grade products are kiln-dried to 19% or less moisture content and HT-stamped unless otherwise specified by your salesperson.

VIDA Wood AB is the largest privately owned sawmill in Sweden. They own and operate eight sawmills throughout southern Sweden. Their specialties are 2x4, 2x6, 2x8, 2x10, 2x12 dimensional lumber with lengths from 8' thru 18' in solid material, as well as, finger-joint capacity for 26' thru 32' in 2x6, 2x8 and 2x10.
