Originally from New Mexico, I grew up in a holistically-minded family who used homeopathy and chiropractic medicine for most common ailments. This life-long belief in holistic medicine led me to study at New York College of Health Professions in Manhattan and Long Island. I am licensed by the state of NY, and am accredited by the NCCAOM.
Inspired by Master Acupuncturist Kiiko Matsumoto, my focus is on treating what's at the core of your symptoms and why your body isn't healing itself efficiently. Constitutional (or root) treatments accompany symptomatic (or branch) treatments, to help you feel and stay better. Rather than selecting a combination of points that should, in theory, help, I carefully examine points and makes sure they are the appropriate ones for you.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on an ancient philosophy that describes the universe, and the body, in terms of two opposing forces: yin and yang. When these forces are in balance, the body is healthy. This constant flow of energy keeps the yin and yang forces balanced. However, if the flow of energy gets blocked, like water getting stuck behind a dam, the disruption can lead to pain, lack of function, or illness.
I accept many insurance plans, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, NYSHIP, VA, and United Healthcare; other carriers sometimes have out of network benefits which can be used, too. Acupuncture is an eligible expense for use with FSA/HSA cards.

If you're looking for a great acupuncturist look no further! I saw Willow for the first time to help with infertility and was amazed at how much it helped me. I was dealing with the stress of a passed miscarriage and carrying around physical pains I wasn't even aware of as well. Within a few sessions I noticed a shift in my own mental state as well as a relief of the physical pains. Willow not only helped through acupuncture but shared all sorts of information on Eastern practices for helping with fertility and provided me with sources for things from diet, to helpful daily practices, to herbal

We were trying to get pregnant for a year and my doctor was going to put me on medication. Before that I thought to myself maybe acupuncture might help. I saw Willows page and saw she specialized in Fertility, I immediately made an appointment. I had not had my period in 3 month and was told I was not pregnant. After seeing Willow 2x I conceived my baby boy! No period for 3 months and I got pregnant! She is amazing and everyone I have sent to her is amazed by her work. Recommend 100%

I hate needles! But I love Willow Acupuncture! Why? Willow has a fantastic bedside manner and makes me feel calm and comfortable to the point (no puns), where I'm no longer squeamish and open to the benefits of what acupuncture can do.
