We provide professional service for all your termite & pest control needs. Cal-Cam's headquarters is located in Moss Bluff, Louisiana. We have been providing pest control in Moss Bluff for over 31 years. These ants are not attracted to ordinary ant baits, and are not controlled by over-the-counter pesticides, and are harder to fully exterminate than many other species because their colonies have multiple queens.

Formosan termites are one of several termite species that threaten homes and other structures in Hawaii and parts of the southern half of the continental United States. Originally from Mainland China, Formosan termites have been established in the continental U.S. for only about 50 years. In fact, they are more vigorous and aggressive than native termites.
The Native Subterranean termite is the most common and widely distributed termite in North America. This native pest feeds on cellulose materials including structural wood, wood fixtures, paper, books, and cotton. Occasionally, it will even attack the roots of shrubs and trees. A mature colony of Native Subterranean termites can range from a low of 20,000 to a high of five million workers, with an average of 300,000.
Bed bugs have largely been thought of as being a problem of the past. The truth, however, is that bed bugs are making a strong comeback. So much so, that they are now being found even in fine hotels and fancy homes. One of the reasons for such a strong reappearance is because of international travel.
The first case in Louisiana of crazy ants was discovered in Sulphur by Kevin Savoie (owner of Cal-Cam Termite & Pest Control). Crazy ants got their name from their quick and erratic movements. As of 2012, these ants have established colonies in all states of the Gulf Coast of the United States. Crazy ants are about 0.125 inches long and covered with reddish-brown hairs.
Roaches are omnivorous and will eat virtually anything people will and many things we won't. Most cockroaches thrive in warm, damp environments such as sewers, basements, crawl spaces, and boiler rooms. In southern states, they will also be found living and breeding outdoors. The American roach is a strong flier and both sexes have fully developed wings.
