Hines Pools did a full renovation of my pool two years ago - new tile, spa rock facing, and pebble sheen surface. We have been really happy. They executed the project on time and on budget and the quality of the work has been perfect.
I have been taking care of my pool myself for 25 years but finally broke down and hired Hines to maintain the pool. My technician (Jas) has been doing a great job. The pool is spotless, chemicals are perfect - and I am no longer worried about buying chemicals, testing water, and scrubbing the pools.

We have had such a disappointing experience with this company. My husband had several legitimate questions about the condition of our pool and the quality of the maintenance service and received several defensive, rude responses. We have every right to know how our pool is being treated and expect a detailed report, especially since we have young children. After several attempts at trying to get complete answers, we were informed that our service would be discontinued.

Jeff Hines just left our home completing a repair on our pool / spa heater. As usual an outstanding job. The Company communicates extremely well with job status (Joel) and Jeff has become our "Go To" pool repair person. We used another entity only to be insulted by the person with whom we had worked. Over the last few years, Hines has become the preferred entity with whom we always work. They are easy to work with, they are pleasant to work with, they do the job right the first time and they do it at a fair price. We cannot say enough about the experiences we have had with them.

We are renting our house in Austin and cannot take care of our pool since we live in another city, so we contracted with Hines Pool and Spa to do it for us. Our pool has a small leak in the line somewhere and in order to get it diagnosed, it has to be in pristine condition.
We spent a week in Austin getting the pool cleaned and ready for regular maintenance. After that week, Hines was supposed to take over cleaning. We trusted them to take care of it.
One of their cleaning technicians was on vacation, and they did not send someone else out to clean it. As a result, the pool fell out of balance

We called to get a quote on renovating our pool, which Hine's Pool employees knew was in Fayetteville TX. They came out made measurements and were very friendly. We were looking very forward to their work. Unfortunately they decided they didn't really want to drive that far to do the renovation. They still sent us a bill for $250 for their quote. Come on now; everyone has Google maps and since they chose to back out, why must we pay??? Well we did pay, so now I can complain because Hines Pool charged us even as they backed out of the job due to a 1 1/2 - 2 he drive.

I don't usually give 5 stars but when you go the extra mile you deserve it. Pool was damaged in Houston Winter Storm. After calling a number of stores in Houston area for Hayward SP3200un and being informed it had a 120day back order from Hayward and then seeing nothing was on Amazon or eBay you start to get desperate. I proceeded to call a few store in the Austin and San Antonio area and Ray Hines not only had the part but had it to me the next day. Customer service was impeccable, happy someone still answers the phone. Now I know where to get parts if I ever need them. Top notch!!

I have used Hines Pool & Spa for years and highly recommend them for pool/spa service and repairs. Their technician Justin Brown is stellar. He is very experienced, knowledgeable and consultative. Even during the 2/11-21/21 massive snow and ice event, Justin *called me* just to check on our pool and spa equipment, offering advice. And it all survived the big freeze.... You don't find this kind of customer service anymore. Hines (and Justin) are great!

Highly recommend Hines. Our technician, Chris, was friendly and knowledgable and overall made an annoying pool light repair situation much less stressful. He also proactively identified a wiring issue and corrected that while he was here. Great experience. Hope I don't have any more pool repair issues anytime soon but will definitely track down Chris if I do.

I contacted Hines after seeing they had good reviews. They sent out Chris to fix a problem with my pool filter. He fixed it with no problem and gave us lots of ongoing advice for pool care. For the first time in years I feel confident that I am doing the right thing with the pool and I know I have Hines to contact if I do have any issues. Thank you, Chris!

but they said it would be weeks, before they could come out. I asked, "Can you suggest another company?" They referred me to Hines and I have never looked back. Chris has repaired my pool, a couple of time. Every time he leaves, my pool looks fantastic. He's always extremely nice and I provides great customer service.
If you are looking pool company - I (and at least one other pool company) highly recommend Hines!

Chris and his crew have been punctual and professional every time they have been out. Whether I need them for maintenance or emergencies they are quick to respond and quick to get here. Very professional last week when Chris needed to replace a gasket that was causing a large leak during the COVID crisis. Highly recommend!

Yesterday Hines sent, again, and thankfully, Jeff to repair my pool pump. It was leaking! He is the best! Not only did he repair my pump, today, for the first time, I think, in the history of my pool, is my Polaris working properly!! No spraying water everywhere and cleaning the full length of my pool and NOT moving at a breakneck speed. Thank you Jeff. Thank you Hines. You will forever be at the top of my list for pool repairs!! Hines has been cleaning our pool for almost 5 years. We love that they are a one stop shop and can handle everything from our weekly cleanings (thank you, Trey!!) to Polaris repairs, light bulb replacement and even fixed a broken pipe. They are reliable, trustworthy and have always quickly addressed any repair requests.

I've had several yahoo's from other companies waste my time, not fixing my pool equipment. Hines tech's know their business. Provided good accurate advice and options. Repair and service has always been great. That encouraged me to contract with their cleaning service. Again great and competent service. Charles, my cleaner, is always happy to explain pool health and maintenance, responds with helpful advice and answers to my questions, and of course does great job maintaining my pool.
