Ballas Chiropractic has been proudly serving the Lake Norman community for 19 years. During this time, we have grown from a one-doctor office to now maintaining a staff of four doctors. Chiropractic is healthcare that's focused on you. We treat your whole body, naturally and holistically. Chiropractic works with your musculoskeletal and nervous systems and their impact on your health. Proper alignment is necessary for your body to function the way it should. If misaligned, your spine cannot move the way it's supposed to, causing pain and discomfort.
Acupuncture and Dry Needling are both all-natural, holistic therapies that provide pain relief. Using different applications and methods, both provide additional ways to treat and help heal our patients. Acupuncture is a centuries-old system of healing. One of the medical arts originating in China, thin needles are used to release stress in the affected area.
Inflammation in the muscles and tissues of your body can cause pain and discomfort. This can result from an injury, stress on the body or even eating the wrong foods. Many treatments can be found to treat the resulting symptoms; not so many for the root cause. Class IV Laser Therapy gets to the cellular level to stimulate tissue repair and growth.

It was my first time and everyone from the front desk to the chiropractor was super nice and helpful! I was able to book my appointment online and they called me shortly after and told me I was able to fill out new patient paperwork online so when I got to the office I can go straight back! That was a great time saver! The chiropractor took his time and ensured I was aware of the treatment plan and walked me through the entire process. He was personable and very helpful! Been coming here for a little over a year now and have only had the best experience. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and empathetic. Treatments are definitely effective! Currently 8 months pregnant now and comparing how I feel to my last pregnancy is like night and day. Before, I couldn’t stand or sit without sharp pain starting around 6/7 months… in. It’s been so much more manageable now, even considering I’m having to also keep up with my two year old. I don’t know how I’d be getting by at this point without the help of the team at Ballas Chiro.

This is such an incredible office. The people are amazing and professional and the doctors are really knowledgeable and good at what they do. I had an impacted joint in my back that was causing terrible pain. I felt 80% better after my first visit and then continued to get better and better with each followup. I will definitely be a patient for life here

I started out thinking they would really help me. I saw each doctor except Dr Tyler Slabaugh. I was sent to an orthopedist (I guess that's all they knewi in terms of a specialist.) for arthritic changes in my neck. Luckily, the PA at that clinic had just left a position at Carolina Neurology and Spine. He assessed my pain and told me he would recommend that I see the neurosurgeon he worked with previously. He was confused about why I was sent to orthopedic care but felt that I was not a candidate for surgery. I saw the neurosurgeon and he concurred.

Words can't adequately express how appreciative and grateful I am to know Dr. Ballas and his team at Ballas Chiropractic, Health and Wellness Center here in Huntersville.
He has always been there for any issue we've ever had for more than ten years and provided the most amazing physical and medical care, well surpassing hospital and pediatric care in diagnosis and treatment.
Knowing Dr. B and his team would be there for us following my youngest's sports-related head injury this weekend, I was able to sleep last night knowing we'd be in Ballas' care in the morning.

I've been here twice now and have been well taken care of at both visits. I've been dealing with some lower back issues and they've managed to both alleviate some of the initial pain and set me up with a plan to keep me mobile and prevent further injury. I know some people are hesitant to use a chiropractor but I have been to a few and I have to say the folks here at Ballas are some of the best around.

I started believing in chiropractic because of Dr.Ballas and his practice. I was in immense pain on my bday eve when I first saw him. It was a Thursday evening when I first saw him and I had plans to travel Monday morning. Dr. Ballas made arrangements to see me both days over the weekend and worked on me to make sure that I can travel on Monday morning. I will recommend this practice to anyone without hesitation.
