Services
We, Tom and Sheri, have been in the service industry, in one form or another, for most of our working lives. We enjoy the variety that life provides in working with people from all walks of life. We also enjoy having our guests sit down together and share stories or experiences of life in the mountains.
World class fly fishing rivers include The Madison River, The Gallatin River, Beaverhead, The Big Hole River, and The Jefferson River which are all within one to two hours drive. Check out current water levels here. The Ruby valley abounds with rare birds and we know where to find them. Call Elijah's Rest today to find out about arranging a personal birding tour during your stay.
The Mantle House building is where all our guests gather to enjoy time together playing games and planning their time in the area. There you can enjoy some time visiting with others as well as your hosts, Tom and Sheri. It is a place that is used for special functions and can be used during the day to sit and visit with friends or relatives who live in the area.
David's Cabin is decorated with a hunting theme representing some of the wildlife in the area. Simon is decorated in a fishing decor that reminds you of what awaits the next day as you head off to the river for a day of fishing or site seeing. Jehu is a cowboy at heart so his cabin is decorated in a cowboy theme.
Belgrade exit off of Interstate 90. Take MT 85 south toward Yellowstone National Park till you reach the intersection of MT Rt. 84 and US 191. Make a right there onto MT Rt. 84. Go straight onto 84 and follow till it ends in Norris at the Junction of US 287. Make a left onto US 287 going south to Ennis.

Very clean and the perfect size for a family of 4 or 5. Tom has kept the cabins in top shape. All the basics are covered, fridge, sink, stove, internet and tv, bed and bath. We had zero issues during our stay. Our hosts were responsive and the checkin and reservation process were smooth and efficient. We will recommend to all our friends who are traveling through the area. Wish I could have given more than five stars.

We love Elija's Rest Cabins! We stayed there this summer and I've been meaning to leave a review ever since. The owners are so kind, and gave our three kids a warm welcome with hot cocoa the second we stepped out of our car. The accommodations were impeccable, comfortable, and went above and beyond with the amenities in our room. My only regret was not getting to talk about quilting with Sheri while visiting. We will be back for sure!

We originally booked 2 nights but like it so much we added two more. Our stay was quiet and very comfortable. We booked the small cabin with a queen bed and an extra rollout bed for our party of two adults and one 12 year old.
We were happy to find some extra amenities available for us borrow including a fishing pole and tackle box. And a hot cup of coffee was always available.
The owners were attentive and quite friendly but also let us keep to ourselves.
Nearby attractions that we enjoyed include historic Nevada and Virginia City, Yellowstone, and fishing and rick hounding in the nearby

Wonderful experience all around :) Very clean cabins, incredible landscape, delicious food, & friendly hosts. Within driving distance of fantastic rafting, great hiking, natural & commercial hotsprings, breweries, distilleries, hunting, fishing, ziplining, tubing, horseback riding, historic Virginia/Nevada Cities, museums, Yellowstone, the Lewis & Clark Caverns (the most interesting caverns I've ever been through), and more! This was an incredible vacation and I will definitely be returning with my family :)

Very accommodating and helpful! The cabin was great, in good shape and clean. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was great! The location was an hour and a half from Yellowstone and much better accommodations and more reasonable price than those closer to Yellowstone. Virginia City MT is also very close. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, low key cabin- this is the place. It was me and 3 kids and everything was great.

Great location in Sheridan, close to Ruby Springs and Virginia City. The service was wonderful! We originally needed 2 cabins (since there were 5 of us) and all of the cabins were booked. Not a problem, they accommodated all 5 of us by placing more beds in the cabin! The breakfast was amazing! Nice clean cabins with a great view of the mountains and Elk hanging out in the field. Very peaceful. Would definitely stay there again!
