Services
Sign up to hear from us about specials, sales, and events. We regularly have specials on organic compost, topsoil and many garden soils for pickup or delivery to Fort Myers, North Fort Myers & Naples. You have 30 (change this) calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Back to Eden Gardening is the "Deep Mulch Method". The idea is to cover the soil with organic matter such as MW's ground cover and you will pile it up high (like 18" to 24") and with the intention with regenerating soil life in the Florida sand. To reduce water needs on our environment, we suggest adding Florida Native Trees & Plants.
MW Horticulture Organic Compost is now OMRI Listed! Our compost carries the certified compost seal of approval by the United States Composting Council- We are the only private compost producer in Lee County to have this approval. MW Horticulture Organic Compost is also QCS approved. QCS is the agency that regulates what soil you can use on organic farms.
Compute the square footage of your yard by using the appropriate volume formula for the shape of your yard. For rectangular yards, multiply the length times the width. For example, if your yard is 10 feet by 15 feet, you would multiply 10 by 15 to get 150 square feet. Here is the formula you need to calculate any soil math problems.
Composting Stages* Mesophilic Stage - Temperatures below 113 degrees F, Microorganism multiplying and breaking down easily available carbohydrates begin to heat up pile and pH begins to drop as acids are produced. As more and more compost is produced and utilitzed as the body of end-use related research grows, the benefits of using compost have become more evident and measurable.

Please avoid this business at all costs and do your homework....just had 5 yards delivered today of what they told me was High Grade Black Mulch and it is covered in Deisel Oil, we have found large rocks, fish hooks, electrical wire, plastic knives and forks as well as a lot of plastic bags in the pile. This waste is covered in some form of petrolium and deisel fluids. I have tried to call and message them over 15 times without response and now have contacted the South District EPA because we believe that the pile contains hazardous bio and fuel oil waste. This is large chunks of different materials

Not sure if they don't know how to operate safely, or just don't care. Processing mulch and compost is a predictable and measurable science in which when proper protocols are used, fire doesn't happen. The only reason for mulch fires is 1) bad management or 2) arson. There is no evidence of arson, so....

Went here for the first time today. Yard man was cheerful and directed me to the office to pay first. Becky in the office was equally as cheerful. Paid $54 for a 5x10x5 trailer load of tree debris. She computed 9 square yards which means $6/yard. Seemed a little high. I am going to order a dumpster if I have a lot. Same price, but with a dumpster, I do not have to drop off and off load. They did offer to help off load but my wife and I did it. Yard is dirty and could be muddy in the rainy season, but it was dry in November.
