At The Powder Room, owner and professional makeup artist Kelly Miron will help you realize your personal makeup style with top-of-the-line products from the best cosmetic companies in the world. Kelly believes in the transformative nature of makeup and that beauty comes in all forms, shapes, and sizes - there is no one-size-fits-all approach at her boutique.
Having the perfect eyebrow is what defines the modern makeup look. Our owner has been framing faces and creating the perfect arch for over 20 years. There is no waxing involved, we only use tweezers, scissors, and a little razor action. Although they are supposed to be sisters, not twins, we will transform each brow to exquisitely frame your eyes.
We offer custom facials for our clients, personalized to your skin type and individual preferences. Our wonderful aesthetician will consult with you in regards to your needs and concerns, then customize a facial that will target those specific areas. I am very fair skinned and have never been able to tan naturally in the sun. I always burn. However, my bridesmaids planned a beach getaway for my bachelorette party this summer. As excited as I was for this trip, I was extremely anxious about having to wear the typical bridal white, especially standing next to all my tan friends wearing always flattering black dresses. Karli gives the best facials I have found! I used to go to her before she was at The Powder Room. I have had facials from several other places in the Beachwood area, Cleveland & Akron - in my 4 years without Karli, I never found anyone close to her. Her facials are relaxing & have noticeable results. She has a knack for knowing what my skin needs - literally you are in great hand with her! She is THE BEST!

Terrible customer service. About a month before my wedding, my fiance (now wife) was informed that the the owner, Kelly, whom she had paid for an expensive makeup trial with in the fall of 2017 would no longer be doing her makeup. The company refused to refund the money spent on the makeup trial and only offered the services of another artist that they were not able to provide any samples of her work. It was a classic bait and switch move that is not something an ethical business would ever consider. Kelly, is one of the most unpleasant, unprofessional rudest people I’ve ever had the misfortune of coming in contact with. She rushed through the entire makeup application was rude and indifferent towards mine or my daughter’s requests as to what we where looking for, didn’t care that she made up my 15year old to look like a street walker or that we were unhappy with the end result. Even when I asked her to fix My daughter’s eye make up, I was told that she doesn’t have time, she just wanted to be done and move on to the next “victim”. I took my daughter for a teen make-up and skin care lesson. I can not say enough about how awesome Kelly and her team are. I wanted my daughter to learn from experts who would teach her techniques for age appropriate, natural looking makeup, but also teach her that it all starts with great skin care. I knew I could teach my daughter myself -- but I also knew it would be better accepted coming from someone other than "mom".
