Chris has represented more than a thousand clients in criminal, personal injury and civil rights cases throughout his career. Collaborating with the the ACLU of Washington, the Public Defender Association, and Disability Rights Washington, Chris litigated a successful class-action lawsuit challenging unconstitutional delays in the state's process for evaluating whether criminal defendants with mental illness are competent to stand trial.
Sean Gillespie is an experienced and compassionate litigator who represents his clients with fierce determination and poise in the courtroom. Together with law partner Chris Carney, Sean tried a civil rights and medical malpractice case against King County Jail, winning a jury award of nearly $1million for his client.

I reached out for a discrimination lawsuit against an airlines and Mr. Carney agreed to work on the case and we exchanged few emails and I provided all the fact. Surprisingly, when I emailed for next steps after one month or correspondence Mr. Carney stopped responding and didn't respond to any emails or calls. This is highly unprofessional and a waste of time. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone.

I found myself in an unfortunate position as a consumer and was pretty pissed. Big time pissed. I brought my grievance to Carney Gillespie Isitt, yet doubted that I had a case. It seemed like small potatoes to me, but they informed me that the law was indeed broken and advised me to fight for my rights. Not being one to lie down, I sent them the documentation I had available and had a quick conversation about the order of events with my situation.
