Services
We have lived, hiked, climbed, and enjoyed the rivers and mountains here in the Highlands-Cashiers area for 16 years. This is our home and a source of renewal for ourselves and our family. As professional yoga teachers and bodywork therapists, we practice living well through many resources such as real foods cooking, shopping with local farms, body alignment practices, positive thinking, rest, and deeply connecting to the quiet of nature.
Yoga therapy is healing through the full spectrum of yoga. This is where yoga is naturally well-matched with western science. Yoga seeks to balance the whole person in a supportive, integrative web of new patterns of moving, breathing, eating, thinking, and relaxing. These are the five basics of holistic health.
We are excited to share with you the many benefits of yoga and especially the home practices that you can be doing at the new pace of life. A slower pace, a focus on health- rather than seeing this as a time of uncertainty, connect more fully to the moment and new lifestyle changes that encourage strength of body and ease of mind.
Strong, healthy core and structural muscles naturally and easily support the spine, which brings balance, alignment, and pain relief to the whole body. Regular practitioners will experience strengthening of these vital muscles, release from tight muscles, improved breathing, and a counter balance from daily repetitive movements.

Ashby puts in an amazing amount of energy and kindness into her classes. She's an incredibly knowledgeable and powerful teacher. She was able to guide my husband and I through all 12 postures and gave us specific ideas to guide our home practice. She was able to cut through all of the fluff and noise surrounding the current "yoga culture" and provided a clean and pure experience that made us so excited about exploring yoga at home. We cannot say how much her powerful presence centered and relaxed us. She is indeed a treasure and should be greatly appreciated and adored for her expertise and kindness

It's difficult to express how amazing this studio is as well as how wonderful Ashby's structural integration work is! Every time I'm in Highlands and attend a class at this studio, I'm amazed by how much I get out of the class (especially since I take classes in my home town, and do not typically feel this way after a class at home). Each hour on the mat with these teachers delivers gifts of insight and presence. These gifts continue giving long after the class has finished, and are carried back into daily life, where they allow for more freedom and vitality. I'm so grateful for this studio, and
