The Instructors at Montgomery's Docarmo's Taekwondo Center are experienced in Taekwondo, and nice people to boot. They're available to assist you in all aspects of our training programs. Their personal and friendly approach always ensures you'll receive the attention and programs you have come to expect from Docarmo's.
Master Anne Docarmo began taking Tang Soo Do lessons over 40 years ago. Master Docarmo is a World Taekwondo Federation 6th degree black belt making her one of the highest ranking female black belts in the country, and a nationally recognized coach. She was the 1st female Black Belt in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1976.
At Docarmo's Taekwondo Center we take a personalized approach to help you with your taekwondo needs. We believe in providing the highest quality martial arts program to our students. We believe our students are our greatest asset, and we are dedicated to serving their needs. Our ultimate goal is to provide a Family Martial Arts Fitness Center that caters to everyone in the community by offering multiple programs that anyone can enjoy at any age.
One of the best program for ages 4-6 in Montgomery! By providing a program that allows students to set short term goals, our Lil' Dragons build confidence and self-respect. You will notice physical results such as improved coordination and strength, but be even more impressed by the mental benefits our students receive such as enhanced social and listening skills, memory, focus and control.

We loved our time here. Our 6 year old really thrived here. Her discipline improved greatly and she loved it. The instructors are all amazing. They have the perfect combination of fun, hard work, and discipline. I most enjoyed the family atmosphere. They genuinely care about all the students and their families.

We had the pleasure of attending one of Mrs Docarmo’s Taekwondo Rank Advance Testing. Over 100 students demonstrating their skills for advancement.
My family and I were welcomed with open arms from everyone in her school. Mrs Docarmo has an extensive background in Taekwondo and Martial Arts. Very professionally trained staff! We are just blown away at her passion to see others succeed. I hope to be like her one day 😊

Docarmo's TKD has taught my son self confidence, discipline, respect for others, and respect for himself. He has learned to defend himself while having fun competing in this awesome sport. Master Docarmo is a gifted teacher and a wonderful person. If you want a great, family atmosphere while learning Taekwondo, this is the place!!!

We chose Docarmo’s Taekwondo Center over other martial arts schools in Montgomery for a number of reasons. First: Master Docarmo has used her 40 years of experience to create a positive, challenging, disciplined learning environment. We’ve watched all three of our children develop confidence, athleticism, resiliency, and a sense of teamwork they couldn’t have gotten anywhere else. Docarmo's Taekwondo Center is owned and operated by 6th Degree Master Anne Docarmo. Ms. Docarmo was my instructor in Sioux City. I teach in Sioux City, IA and can tell you that Ms. Docarmo is the finest instructor in the United States. She has a knack for bringing the best out of every martial artist in her school and has produced some of the finest martial artists in the country, including students who have competed on the national and international level. She runs her school with an uncompromising passion that she has carried for all the years she has been teaching. I have no doubt she offers

Why Docamo Taekwondo Center (DTC) is the best in town? Because the Master, Mrs Docamo (Mrs. "D") who has been teaching by her heart over 40 years, who keeps always learning to bring the best to her students. My twin girls,14 years old have earned 1st Degree Black Belt from DTC told me once: " If you want the real Taekwondo, go DTC ". Not only Taekwondo, my twins also learned about courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, indomitable spirit, self confidence etc. and courageously protected the bullied classmates at school, not fighting, just came, looked to the eyes and told the bully kids
